A little while to wait to order food but once the staff came to our table, service was better

Food was great and plenty of it. We had a good time and left feeling very full. The only negative thing I could say is that it was very noisy and it was hard to have a conversation.

Always enjoy dining at Okami. They offer an affordable dining option for families. Great variety, fresh and tasty food.

Service was great. We sat in the corner which was great as more quieter as helps with young kids. Food tasted really good. A real good vibe and family friendly place woth food that is really good value!!!

Our go to restaurant. Love the food, the efficiency of the orders coming out and variety of selection available. Only thing is they tend to forget an order and have to follow up. Its super popular and can tend to get busy as the night gets on.

Lovely atmosphere, quick and friendly staff. We were greeted at the door by a lovely young lady, who explained how to order our food. I absolutely love the qr code ordering, you add what you want to the cart, once you place the order, the food starts coming within minutes. It was easy to order more of we needed to. Overall, the Niddrie store is my favourite of the Okami restaurants.

Food was excellent, and the orders came out very quick, service was great also. One of the waiters came running out to the street as we were leaving to give us a bag that we forgot.

Previously I had visited this restaurant, and everything was perfect from food, service, cleanliness etc. This visit, we had to wait and ask for where our food was. The service was poor, and looking back on it, I think the staff expected that all orders would be done via the QR code/online. For us who didn't do it this way, had to really make an effort to get the staff attention. And a few mix up with different food being dropped off. On top of this, we had a staff member who spilled some sauce on our shoes. Didn't apologize, and asked them to get something to clean it up. We waited for many minutes, to then see that staff delivering food to tables. Took another couple of minutes to get the attention of another staff member, who after telling them what had happened, did the exact thing that the first member did, which was then to ignore us and continue serving other costumes. We eventually got the attention of the offending staff member, who was told by us, that we were disappointed and upset with the service, as we were wanting to order our desserts. They again left the table, not to return (with something to clean up our shoes and floor, but they didn't return to take our order). Again, some minutes later, we got the attention of someone who was completely different, and asked to talk to the manager. The manager was then told of the situation, and how disappointed we were. We said that if the offending staff member apologized and returned with something to clean up the mess, we would have been fine. We all make mistakes, but not to apologize and not to return, was disgusting and very upsetting for us. We left the restaurant not confident that the manager would have solved the situation. To make amends, the costs of 2 x glasses of coke was taken off our bill. Personally this isn't enough to warrant our return to this particular restaurant. After raving about this restaurant for months, and experiencing such wonderful service at my other meals, to then having such a bad experience last night, has really upset and disappointed us. It really ruined an infrequent night out.

Miss eggplant salad and the new system does not allow less portion or different mix within the order (less wastage). Please reconsider Tks
