Generally, it was good. It could have been better if the waiters were on the ball. Some of the dishes we ordered was not brought until it was really late. Perhaps, they forgot, or they (the waiters) were simply too flat out. Even with desert, we ordered 5 vanilla ice creams, but only four came out and the last one we had to remind them three times before they eventually brought it out in 30 minutes. One more thing, the restaurant did not have fresh chilly or spicy sauce to cater for those who enjoy spicy food. Otherwise, it could have been a much better night.

Friendly, casual dining with brilliant food and friendly staff. Portion sizes mean you can try lots of different things and the ordering system means you can order more food at whatever intervals you like. Food comes very quickly but it never feels rushed. This is a go-to restaurant for us for any sort of celebration.

Our group had a fantastic evening at Okami Niddrie. The food was amazing and all of the staff were friendly, polite and very attentive. Our only (slight) criticism would be the noise but when you've got a restaurant full of people enjoying themselves, the noise is expected :) I highly recommend this restaurant. We were disappointed at the timing of the food coming out. We were a big group and some people waited ages for their food. The order of food is also disappointing, entrees coming out after mains. It has been much better previously.

The food is good,nice and fresh.However the service made my experience to end to this answer regard my overall experience.We order drinks,the orange juice for my little daughter come almost to the end of the meal.I ordered a second beer that never came. I suggest they should divide the restaurant in section so waiters can look after the customers better and not having 6 or 7 different people serving the same table.Anyway is not my first visit and won't be the last,however the service need a lot of improvements.
