Now, we mentioned it’s a bit of a family affair at Gino’s Italian Restaurant, so you’ll find Sayed and Deborah’s children Dominique, Simon and Charlotte and cousin Eddie running the show and giving this Hamilton restaurant a real sense of warmth, as a result. You can really feel the passion! And what about the menu? Well, this is where Gino’s Italian Restaurant really shines. Start things off with a round of oysters to share, calamari served with fresh lemon and cocktail sauce and some Italian-style garlic prawns topped with lashings of olive oil, lemon and parsley.

Then, it’s time for the main affair. Some of our favourite dishes to sample include the famous Simons Special fettuccine made with fresh chilli, bacon and prawns in a Napolitana sauce; eggplant parmigiana smothered in Napolitana sauce and fresh parmesan; veal saltimbocca layered with ham and cheese or the seafood pizza topped with prawns, anchovies, olives and calamari.
