Dux Cafe Restaurant

VERY ENJOYABLE PLACE TO HAVE LUNCH. WE'LL BE BACK AGAIN TO TRY BREAKFAST.

pleasant atmosphere, attentive service, nice table settings and a choice of setting areas. Noise levels were good at first but when some more vocal groups arrived, conversation was a little difficult. Lunch menu was interesting and the wine list had a good range of prices. Seafood and mushroom risottos were uninspiring...low on flavour and very "wet". Servings, mercifully, were not too large. Wagyu burger and fish wraps were pronounced OK, but did not draw any applause. Thai salad and kebabs were a generous serve and was probably the best of the dishes we had. Coffees were excellent. All in all, acceptable and pleasant but not great value..

What a gorgeous little restaurant. The food was lovely. Very good value for money. The staff are amazing and all extremely friendly and can't do enough for you.

Very friendly, not enough staff. Food was good, but no water refreshing and no second drinks order. Suggest leaving water at the table.

Front of house lady ( ?owner) is just gorgeous. All staff were attentive. They were quite busy and very apologetic for the wait. We weren't in any hurry so not a problem at all, and it wasn't that long. Steak salad was delicious

The staff were lovely, made us feel very welcome and got the order spot on. The place was nice and warm on a cold day. The cafe was well laid out so we didn't feel like our conversation was interfering with other diners. Unfortunately, three of our guests felt the portion size of the scrambled eggs was too small compared to other cafes. We will go again because the staff asked for feedback and were willing to take this on oboard.

Service was excellent in all departments . The staff are lovely and the cafe was nice and warm . I would recommend you meet your friends there for a lovely lunch or breakfast

2 fish dishes were over cooked and no taste . Not crowned n therefore no Noise

The Duz is a lovely smaller cafe that has terrific food, excellent service and isn't noisy which makes it one of my favourite cafes

Arrived and greeted with a friendly smile. Walked to my table by staff who immediately gave us a glass of water and showed the menu specials. Meal was delivered quickly and the taste was superb. Great variety. Prices are reasonable and reflect the quality and generous serves. Will definitely be back again.

Service was great. My pumpkin salad had too much balsamic glaze and cashews (try almonds or macadamia guys) but on the whole it was ok.
