We loved Annie’s! Best meal of our trip. Great atmosphere and food and very welcoming.
Unfortunately the Chef didn't turn up so Owner was running restaurant and called his female partner in half way through the night. It was my girlfriends 70th Birthday, so was a bit disappointed. We had a great time anyway, because we made our own fun whilst waiting, waiting, waiting!
Lovely little restaurant with a cosy atmosphere. Comfortable seating and good lighting. Our server could not have been nicer. Everything we had tasted delicious with our 10 year old son declaring it was the nicest pizza he'd ever eaten. All the food had a fresh home cooked taste about it. Only one thing, we had quite a long wait before any food came which was okay because we had our wine and catching up chatting with our friend whom we hadn't seen in a long time. I think if we were just there on our own, it might have been more noticeable. Having said that, the food was worth the wait, could not fault it.
We waited over 20 mins for water but nearly two hours for food. We won’t be back !
Great quick service with excitement tasting pasta. Music was a little loud however
Bad service, no wine/drink menu, heated frozen pizza at an Italian restaurant. Other dishes were just ok. Overpriced for what it was. Disappointing after high expectations for such a great location. Hoping this review helps restaurant owners improve.
Perfect all round service. Will be back.......... 5 star great
Annie’s is a beautiful restaurant with some lovely staff, when you walk in it feels comfortable and very inviting, however the menu is very limited. My husband ordered the lasagna and was told that it wasn’t available. We ordered the four cheese pizza a when I asked what cheeses were on it, the waiter replied “I don’t know” and didn’t bother to follow it up. I ordered the Mediterranean salad thinking it would have lettuce, tomato, cucumber and olives etc-we got English spinach, mushrooms, capsicum and goats cheese. I paid $33 for the rocket and prawn pasta-it came out with 1 piece of rocket and 5 prawns. It was very ordinary and I was still hungry. The garlic bread was very ordinary. Very underwhelming for $$$$
Food wasn’t as great as the reviews. Pasta was Al dente but the flavors were lacking. Meatlovers bbq pizza was decent but not better than dominoes.
Delicious food, friendly staff, and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone.
nice environment and friendly people. Food was amazing, fresh and we did not wait long. Will certainly come back.
Best restaurant in Coogee beach! Best food and super nice owner :)
Great Coogee local. Pizzas were fantastic - mussels and seafood risotto were a big hit. Really delicious. Really fun environment just up the hill from the beach. Really fun spot!
Good reliable food and attention by the staff. Nice evening.
Good service, good food, pleasant surrounds make for an enjoyable meal.
