Unwelcoming host wiped the smiles from our face as we prepared to celebrate a family birthday. Super friendly waiter restored the smiles. Were offered the steak special which looked like great value until the food arrived. Very small portions which is OK if the steak is great (which my wife’s was). My steak was half fat and sinew and what meat there was was nowhere near the quality of my wife’s. Kids meal steak is great! Kids meal burger was diabolical … the size of a slider and mega dry as overcooked. Brussel sprouts are beyond good … they’re amazing.

We as a group of four enjoyed the flavors and tenderness of the perfectly cooled steak deal on offer . We all decided we would return to Whisky Boy !!

LOVE Whiskey Boy! Our French waitress was fantastic. The owner always makes sure everyone is looked after. And the chef! The food was sensational, steaks were cooked perfectly and those wavy potatoes delicious! Especially on such a busy night.

Staff were very friendly and attentive. The steaks meals we had were cooked to perfection and the flavour and sauces were just mouth watering. Very delicious and we love coming here when we are in Noosa

Food was as described leaning to the bland/basic. Service was earnest and enthusiastic by the young waitress and indifferent/perfunctory by the male senior waitperson ( ie no eye contact when asking for drinks order etc). Possibly being Christmas Eve and he not wanting to be working? So an OK rating

Tuesday Steak Night -great value 2x steaks, chips, salad, whisky jus and 2x glasses of wine all for just $69.00. All was absolutely delicious, the best steak we've had in a long time, the best skin on chips, a fresh salad and plate licking whisky jus... the house red was also a winner :) We'll definitely be back and highly recommended to any steak lovers!

We loved our meal at Whiskey Boy. We went on the Tuesday night when they have their special of steak/chips/salad and a glass of house wine for $59 for 2 people. The steak was delicious - extremely good value and perfectly portioned sides. We will be back again.

Although the restaurant was quiet, we didn’t feel rushed to finish eating or drinking. They were very attentive and made our evening a great one! Thank you team!

Enjoyed a lovely steak meal (Tuesday night deal for 2) and added on an entree and dessert. Food was delicious. Service was first rate, with 2 staff waiting on us. Could not fault their attentiveness! We will definitely return next time we visit Noosa!

We had a nice experience. The waiter was pleasant enough. Maybe could be a tad more excited about his work. The menu hasn't been updated for some time and there were food spillages over the pages and felt grotty.

We both had the flank steak. They were very tasty but unfortunately my steak was cold when it arrived and had to be returned to the kitchen. The wait staff was very apologetic and the steak was better the second time. Just a little disappointing after we had read so many great reviews.

We were impressed by the attentive service staff and high quality meals offered on the menu. Our group of 4 all enjoyed delicious fillet steaks expertly cooked and professionally presented. We had to leave due to an emergency and management arranged for our cheese platter to be a takeaway. We appreciated this and will definitely recommend Whiskey Boy.

Food was okay, it’s quiet a small menu so I feel it should be absolutely mastered & close to perfect..

Awesome steaks. The ravolini was lovely but way too small for the price. Two choices of Chardonnay would be better ans the YellowVale is very anverage. Overall great experience.

Fantastic food with a great location on the river perfect for any occasion

Tuesday special good value, a small but adequate piece of fillet (more medium than medium rare as ordered, but still good). Jus in the wee bottle very delicious! Fries good. Salad leaves just that, maybe one more slivered veg apart from the teeny radish garnish would have made it look less like a handful out of a bag! Not too noisy and good service too thanks.
