We had a delicious lunch. Would come again. Recommend the lobster tagliatalle
Delicious food , charming waiter, will definitely go again !
Enjoyed it immensely very good service, lovely food, very comfortable on a very cold day
Great good but they are not taking vouchers due to COVID
Delicious food. Staff very helpful. Moved us to a better table without a fuss. Definitely will go back!
We have been there many times and does not disappoint.
Via Alta is a great local neigbourhood restaurant. Well worth a visit
Food was excellent. Wine recommended by waiter was just right. Service was helpful without being intrusive. Overall, a pleasant evening.
Enjoyed a terrific dinner with friends from start to finish. Even better, it’s BYO too.
Very good authentic Italian food and reasonable value - always reliable
Lovely night and apologies as one of guests was challenging!
We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and quality of service and attention provided by staff.
Overall all very good. Was just a little disappointed that they had run out of the Ricotta tart and that they hadnt advised us when giving us the dessert menu
Everything was perfect except for the table. It is very good looking but too wide for easy hearing of conversation and it had a solid support in the middle which meant we couldn't stretch out our legs.
Nice venue. Degustation Menu satisfactory. Service good Wine list toooo... expensive , by the glass $15. Wouldn’t rush back
Lovely meal, but some additional side dish choices would be good. Dessert menu choices rather limited. Friendly staff, nice location. Maybe a little slow to get drinks at the start.
Helpful, well informed waiters. Beautiful Italian wines and a modern, delicious interpretation of Italian cuisine, using fresh Australian produce A welcomed addition to North Shore dining.
Food very different...full of flavour...good friendly service ,waiter answered our questions with good product knowledge about the food we were to consume also was delivered promptly ,hard to fault we will return
Waiter funny and good but bit hard understand with wonderful accent food presented well not enough prices quite high.Corkage way to high as is their wines.. we did notice that there was NO Australian Wine.. lets support our wine industry
Excellent food, great service. Came for our wedding anniversary and the food and wine were exquisite!
Amazing food and service. Easy location. This restaurant is completely unpretentious, lovely relaxed vibe. Highly recommended. The truffle pasta special tonight was to die for!
Always consistent great ... authentic Italian food and warm friendly service...we love eating at Via Alta .. a little corner of Italy in Willoughby .
Saturday night. This cosy weekday/night restaurant was noisy, crowded, too many tables, not enough staff. Drinks arrived AFTER the starter and main course. Shouting to be heard within our party of 4. Won't book there on a weekend night again.
We love the food at Via Alto and try eat at Via Alto at least once a month - unbelievable that its in our local precinct- so lucky to have such fresh and authentic food 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
We had an excellent Italian waiter with a great sense of humor, service was quick and food arrived hot and delicious. We took friends along who had never been there before and they were most impressed. It so good to have such a top restaurant close by.
Good food. Staff could have been more welcoming which was a surprise as they have been excellent in the past. Portion sizes a little small. Cheese platter was excellent.
I've been wanting to go to Via Alta for a long time. It was definitely worth the wait. We were warmly greeted by the waiters when we entered the restaurant and the service was excellent. We loved the atmosphere which is very warm and cozy and the food was outstanding. The mushroom and truffle bruschetta was to die for and the barramundi was fantastic. My partner had the prawns and the sauce was amazing. We were going out to a show so we didn't have time for dessert, but we'll make sure that we leave time for it next time.
