Vaquero is truly a hidden gem with a thoughtfully curated menu. The staff exude warmth and hospitality, making it easy for diners with food allergies to enjoy their experience. I had their banquet last night and found myself craving more of those meticulously crafted flavors. Discovering this place has been a delightful experience for me.

We had the paella seafood lunch special and it was scrumptious, mellow rice packed with luscious prawns, mussels, squid and barramundi. Whoever cooked that succulent barra is a genius! My companions all declared their complementary sangrias delicious. Vaquero is such a beautiful, atmospheric restaurant, the service superb, helpings generous and all of this for a very affordable "special" price. We'll come again to explore more of that inviting menu. Thank you team. You were all wonderful!

The ambience of Vacquero never disappoints; it’s cosy without having the tables too close. Food was of an extremely high standard with very generous portions. It’s pleasing to see that they have a good selection of wine by the glass on offer. The restaurant was well staffed and didn’t leave us waiting to be served at anytime. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant in Albion.

Beautiful paella lunch special with generous portions of delicious fresh seafood, perfectly seasoned. Only $29 including a glass of Sangria. We shared the broccoli side between 4 and couldn’t resist a scrumptious dessert. Great little restaurant combining interesting premises, friendly and helpful service and excellent cooking.

The food is always top notch and fairly quick to arrive at the table. It’s got a nice warm vibe to the restaurant and the prices are reasonable.

The food is superb - interesting flavour combinations that really deliver. The male waiter we had offered excellent advice for wine pairings - and they carry some more unusual offerings that mix things up a bit. The lead waitress (?), Caitlin, is very attentive to her job. Overall, this is an excellent restaurant that deserves a way higher profile on the Brisbane dining scene.

Had a great night at Vaquera. Great value for money with generous portions, amazing cocktails. The potato side dish and Gin Garden cocktail are a must. Staff were very friendly and went over and above to make our night enjoyable. We will be back!

Excellent service however the food was not as great as I remember the last visit. Steak good but not great and other parts of the banquet not as flavoursome as other visits.
