Happy, attentive staff. Tasty food but we did not get our broccoli! So busy chatting to a long lost friend didn’t even register until today. Quite expensive and not sure whether we paid for veggies or not! Great atmosphere.

Four of us dined at Vaquero last night - excellent. Learned they are closing their doors this month and reopening an Italian restaurant in Brisbane's CBD early next year.

I rarely go out for dinner but the banquet at Vaquero Dining was exquisite. From the oysters to the cocktails to the amazing service. Chefs kiss.

From start to finish everything about the experience was good. We were squeezed in early and everyone was very friendly and helpful on our first time there. The food was great tasting and not too big a portion so we didn't feel stuffed when we moved to the next course. The drinks were nice and they made me something that I really liked. We will be back again for the fella's birthday.

Food was very good. Wine by glass selection good. Initial greeting excellent and server pleasant and helpful but under pressure. We felt not enough floor staff. Wait between starters and main overly long.

A terrific night out with all the right ingredients for a wonderful dinner. Do try the Ribs as an Entree and the Wagyu Skirt steak was amongst the best I've ever had! A restaurant truly worthy of a city venue address.

Took my wife out for dinner to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary, thought we’d book at Vaquero because we are locals and previously the food and service has been great. Unfortunately tonight service was very average it was clear that they were understaffed only two waiters looking after the whole restaurant. After being taken to our seats we waited about 20min to be asked if we wanted a drink,ordered two wines Which didn’t turn up… after 30min we asked for some water and asked where our drinks were finally got a drink after 40min the waitress was really apologetic was doing her best. Pretty disappointed overall not how I’d like to celebrate our wedding anniversary, will no longer recommend this place to friends. You need to sort out your customer service..

Just a really tasty menu at a smart, local restaurant with the right amount of sophistication just outside the central restaurant hub of Brisbane. Vaquero deserves to do really well, we love walking there for a tasty Friday night beverage and yummy dinner. Everyone we've ever taken there enjoys it, even the fussy (adult) eaters. Easy parking in the area
