Food was amazing and really lovely smiley staff. Definitely recommend a visit there.

Food itself was lovely however the waitresses could have provided so help with dishes we selected. They were not forthcoming with advice or even tell us about what we had ordered. There was an assumption that all diners are familiar with Vietnamese cuisine. They could benefit by asking people if they were familiar with the dishes and provide advice on the best way to eat. This restaurant used to be very vibrant and popular but now it lacks atmosphere as there were very few diners. The wait staff could be more welcoming and helpful like it used to be. Good for the food not for the experience.

A large group of travellers, only males, were loud and rowdy. Alcohol and speaking so loud. Unpleasant. But the food and service was great.

We are return customers to this nice local restaurant with authentic Vietnamese food.Recommended!

Fresh fresh fresh & tasty food. Lovely customer service. We shared everything, rice paper rolls and calamari deliciously fresh. Caramelised pork belly was amazing. Chicken breast with chilli & lemongrass, moist and nicely spiced. Vermicelli bowl mini spring rolls with crispy salad was refreshing.

Great food and great service. A regular place to go to. The betel leaf beef is always tasty and you can also BYO.

Staff are good & helpful -but they need to improve on a couple of things we have had beef Pho before & very happy-this time not so because they fill it up with things that didnt look good-secondly we asked for a pancake- a bit of a disaster with that-we love calamari but there is too greasy-they need to update it-which we didnt order this time !!

used to be fantastic , would give a miss now , tomato rice was glugey and cold , the pork was also cold , rice paper rolls were dripping from water logged lettuce , on the good side all flavour was terrific

Our favourite spot for friendly, attentive and excellent service all the time every time. The menu is well curated and it is consistent in taste, look and quantity based on the many times we have dined here. Clean facilities, well mannered staff and the best location in Newtown too.

Love Tres Viet - all the dishes we ordered were divine. We came across from the East as we miss the Tres Viet in Double Bay. The fact you offer so many fabulous gf options is great for us too due to allergies. We will be back v soon!

Even on a busy Saturday night, the service was great - the wait staff were very attentive. The food itself was divine as always and their spring rolls are the best!
