Beautiful place and meal. It was a little cold and breezy where we sat just inside the Sturt Street entrance, but still had a great meal.

Was sat right infront of the door on a cold night so every time anyone came in it was freezing. Should put up a table cloth infront of the tables to stop the wind

Great pub, just servings were a bit small for the price paid

My only concern was that only one entree came out prior to the mains meal. We were keen to sit and enjoy the break between entree and main but had almost all of it come out at once. Other than that it was good.

Only issue i has was my steaks my partners steaks were a bit too well done when i asked for med/rare. Apart from that was great.

I enjoyed having a meal at the Western Hotel with my Ararat family. Great food and atmosphere. I shall be back.

Food was great, service was excellent and everything was reasonably priced! We’ll be back for sure!

Was for lunch so not very busy, was quiet and pleasant noise level for conversation. Staff were great, friendly and attentive without being annoying. Thought the prices for meals and drinks were a bit expensive but the meal was delicious. Would probably not go again as too expensive would try some where else.
