New to the area! Absolutely loved our Breakfast. Can’t wait to come again for lunch/dinner
Lovely food and nice ambience , Friendly staff too 😊
Staff were so helpful & professional. Food was fantastic & service wonderful. Many thanks to George for his assistance in organising seating arrangements for our wheelchair bound party member. Would highly recommend.
The food was fantastic, and the surprise happy birthday song was amazing
Our lunch today was delicious beautifully presented plus smiling staff, thank you everyone 👍
Lovely ambience. Food was delicious and a good size serving. Staff were friendly & accommodating.
Amazing setting and food was good too. Service staff was very kind
Good food, great little spot for breakfast with the family.
Peppermint tea was cold, two meals did not arrive at the same time and had to remind the staff twice about the missing meal. Poached eggs on eggs Benedict were stone cold. Very disappointing. Will not be returning.
A bit disappointing actually, given that it is such a nice place to come. I had not been on here for probably a year to year and half and it has changed a lot. Ordered drinks and it took around 30 minutes for two beers to come, even after asking a few times. I usually order the linguine del mare and boy it was so bland, overcooked pasta one prawn and a few pieces of salmon tossed in, so disappointing. We stayed for dessert and they brought them in without cleaning up the table so it was quite messy by the end and by the looks of the other tables around us none of them were cleaned up either so you have a beautiful place with untidy tables so not so nice. 😑 maybe my last time there as per last visit I will likely not come back here again.
Generous and very tasty mains. Good service and fabulous desserts
Customer service was excellent, food excellent , Will definitely go again
Beautiful place and ambience! The food was outstanding and tasty!
We went there for Father’s Day lunch with a reservation. The reservation was made for sitting outside and card details were also taken. However, upon arrival we were denied being seated outside eventhough there were empty tables. When we asked, we were told that the table allocations were random and that the tables outside have been reserved and we weren't in the lucky list. To add to this awful start, the food took like 1 hour to arrive. We took lamb ragu pasta dish and Greek style lamb plate. What a disaster. The meat was so tough in both the dishes and so unflavourful. Pasta was overcooked and not fresh. The tomatoes in the salad was almost whole (unevenly cut), feta was a ball, the skewer came with the steel rod. You can tell that they have been cooked by part time non-familiar chefs - who have no idea about Italian or Greek style cooking. We also took fried calamari – which was ok but the fries were over cooked. You can easily tell because the fries on the Greek lamb plate were golden, and the calamari plate were almost brown. This joint seems like it is run by Indians who are better off cooking what they are most familiar with or train their staff to deliver to the authentic quality for the price they are seeking for. Terrible experience for this overpriced and horrible joint! The drinks were decent. All the 5-star reviews should have been either by discount or paid! Not visiting again..
Waited long for waiters to take orders. Food arrived late. Service isn't that great.
Food was great and service was much faster than previous visits. Thanks for improving the service experience.
I have been going to the Vintage Pantry for 10+ years. The service today was very slow and I was disappointed by the 10% weekend surcharge. It’s one thing to have a surcharge for a public holiday but not on a normal weekend.
Beautiful setting with very friendly staff. Food was amazing and reasonably priced.
Long waiting time for the food… and with disappointed taste :((((((
Today's meal and service was vastly different to past experiences (has there been a change in management?). Service was slow, coffee's came out long after breakfast was served. Eggs were cold on top of spinach leaves (not even sautéed) on a slice of toast. Definitely not worth it!
Sorry to say that my lunch( veggie burger) was bland and tasteless. Straight out a packet! The chips were great , but the burger was so uncreative. This place has gone downhill. Service was hardly existent, apart from taking the order; no interaction at all . Will not be rushing back !
While we had a pleasant time at Vintage, it was very busy and rushed in the restaurant, and some very large events were underway. Our table was in front of the open bar and the main thoroughfare of staff and customers, and the air of rushed panic from the staff trying to fill so many orders was quite distressing. I can only imagine what the kitchen was like! Staff were attentive and timely, almost whisking our plates off the table as soon as our cutlery was put down, and we were very aware that our time at the table was limited. You could feel their stress was through the roof, juggling so many demands. There needs to be more staff (weekend) so that the ones on shift can actually serve without running, and diners don't feel bad about asking for the things they need. I actually helped myself to water, a takeaway cup, and milk for our tea. We did have a pleasant visit, but being seated inside at a corner table behind a wall (we had asked for outside) meant we only experienced the busy kitchen and seeing the owner desperately trying to keep a lid on the busyness, managing tables and juggling events. Maybe hiring more staff for busy weekend days would help? Also, please don't burn scented candles - the ambiance was lovely but the heavy perfume and wax smell made us feel sick and headachy in the closed indoor room.
Extremely disappointed across all areas of service! Main meals were served within 10-15 minutes of each other, so we did not eat together. Drinks were the same! We had to ask where theywere!!! We traveled from the Central Coast to experience the atmosphere, service and amazing food that’s expressed across all media platforms! Both Desserts were inedible and sent back! Service! What service? They have no idea what a jus or salad dressing is! If you consider sweet chilli sauce from a bottle that you dip chips etc into, a salad dressing then you have no culinary knowledge! $110.00 could have been better spent at a take away venue! ☹️
Place is fantastic, good food and great service. Should visit
Asked for the drinks to be served with the breakfast. They forgot about them. When they came and had no milk again asked for milk and it never arrived had to go back to get .
Venue was very good. Food was fantastic. Service was very satisfactory.
Such a beautiful spot, service was good , food was beautiful only down fall was our vegetarian breakfast was cold but still taste good
The place and ambience looks lovely and they serve decent portions. Coffee was fine and serving time also was decent. Overall it’s a nice place to sit , relax and have your meal with a true country feeling
The dessert was very dry and bland not worth $17 each hot chai latte came in a milk shake glass instead of a nice latte glass mug Food very average
Great place for family and friends catch up, close to Fagan park
You had one wait staff for the entire restaurant with customers knocking on doors and screaming for service. Your chef was not at the restaurant at 9.20am and as a result we had to leave.
Delicious food and good service. It would have been better if the fire places had been in use . It was a bit chilly in the room.
The service was slow as they were busier than prepared for The food and presentation was very ordinary The staff were pleasant just to busy.
Setting and good were great. Wait time was too long. Not the first time I’ve had this experience here.
Beautiful food, great service everyone there are kind and a fantastic atmosphere.
One of the best Cafes with beautiful Food & view
Came here for first time for my birthday with family of 4. The surrounds are magical & staff quick to take your orders. The food was fine but a bit overpriced. The time for orders to come out was quite long. 3 out of 4 had finished lunch whilst the last person for lamb was delayed. They were fully booked so slot of pressure I guess. Maybe midweek would be better.
We had a birthday lunch with my partner and parents. It was a cool day and as the fire was not on we were offered lovely warm knee blankets which were fabulous. We brought a handmade cake with us and the staff kindly put decorations and candles on it and played happy birthday music. Terrific atmosphere, food and service. A delightful time was had by all.
Quality of food needs to improve. Pizza was too salty and Creme Broulee came out of a tin
Service sub-standard, food quality abysmal. Over priced food for what was served up. Been here before and experienced what it can be - today was worse than the worst experience of food court food.
Disappointed with the menu because they are only doing “short menu”, so there’s really not much option to order. I wish they advised about this when I made the booking. Also the surcharge is pretty high.
Every time I drove pass the roundabout; I could see there is always crowed with people. I was always thought to try it one day. I had chance to visit last Sunday. But overall experience was not very pleasant. First the table I reserved was between other two tables already with customers sitting in, we had to move table and chair by ourselves so we can sit down and feels very squashed while we are eating. Secondly, we ordered rib eye steak as medium rare, but the steak served was like raw. We end up wasting the steak which we already paid for it. This is first time I had meduim rare steak like this in Australian for last 23 years.
I came with my family, staff were helpful and friendly. Food was great. We all enjoyed the beautiful gardens
Very enjoyable. Not rushed. Will be returning. Great place for lunch with friends.
We loved it! Will definitely return back soon. Lovely atmosphere
Loved the experience great staff, great atmosphere, will be back
i fibd it a pain in the butt tohave to go through a 3rd party to book a table and then get marketing bs afterwards...
Visited for brunch on a Sunday and enjoyed the atmosphere and food. We sat outside so it was not noisy. It is noisy inside. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only minus is the length of time taken to prepare and serve meal. We were not in a hurry so it was not a great problem but if limited for time would be very frustrating. We have been several times so knew what to expect and would go again.
lovely staff and great food, will definitely come again .
Was very busy when we arrived. There were 9 of us at the table ( including 1 child). We were given 2 menus. Waiter took our drinks & entree order. Drinks were slow and had to ask for a milkshake for the child 4 times. On the last time the waitress told us the preset was not entered. We waited for 49mins for 3 remaining pasta orders after the rest of us had eaten. No waiters or waitresses came back to clean up or ask if if we wanted dessert. The waiter at the beginning told us we could order by scanning the at code. Not much served ( salad & steak ) for the price. Very disappointed with the service today .
