The Spinnaker

Unfortunately both Salmon meals were overcooked and the salad had no dressing on it. Barramundi meal was a tiny portion. All staff are awesome though.

The food was average. Chips with meal were dry and cold. Salad with no dressing. Chicken parma and steak, nice enough but over all meal not worth money paid. Kids area very noisy while sitting anywhere outside.

We normally love going to the Spinnaker but we didn’t have the best experience this time. Staff were lovely but food took forever to get. When I ordered, we were told it would be a 45 minute wait which is fine but it took 1.5 hours to get our dinner. We spent more money on drinks because of the wait then couldn’t finish our meal because we were full from the drinks.

Staff were pleasant and obliging and service was friendly and efficient. Raffles were a great option as I won a bottle of rum 👍🤣

We meet family and friends for lunch often and it is always good food ,company and friendly staff.

Amazing and the staff were helpful and quick to clear away our plates.

Beautiful seaside setting, great food and drinks, highly recommend it.

Friendly staff, tables clean and neat. And the calamari was great.

We had a massive group of people 20+ and everyone received their meals quickly and the meals were great

Crumbed steak was raw and instead of trying to fix the problem the “manager” wanted to argue with us and put the blame on us as we should have went to her earlier with the issue ! We just wanted a refund ! Very embarrassing as my family were here visiting from cairns - needless to say we won’t be rushing back !

Waited an hour and a half for our food. When we ordered they had said it was an hour wait, but the wait was very long. Our entree came out early (loaded potato skins) but the serving size was extremely small. Only reason we gave a score of okay is because our mains were all good.

It was busy and a 45min wait. The downfall was the lack of staff clearing empty glasses and plates.

Change your barramundi supplier. The size while huge makes it questionable as to what it actually is. Fish was like leather. Crumb was so thick and not nice, you had to break it open to get to the fish, that was inedible. Lamb goulash was not enjoyable. And not being able to leave a sauce off of an another meal is puzzling. Because it’s a special. ??? Disappointing food all round. Have been before and it was good. Not sure what has happened.

Booking for 6pm, food ordered by 6.20, chased food at 7.30 and it finally arrived at 8.15!! Staff were apologetic but couldn’t really do anything to make it better. Honestly, if the kitchen can’t cope with the number of bookings in a reasonable time, please don’t accept so many people.

Being from WA we had expected a lovely quiet dinner with seating outside so we could enjoy the beautiful weather, however although we booked in the morning, we were given a seat inside the restaurant and it was a Trivia Night so there were lots of very noisy people inside. We asked to be moved outside and managed to find a table there but it was right in the corner near the childrens playground so it was very noisy as well and we couldnt even hold a decent conversation. So we moved as soon as a table became available elswhere and had to wait over an hour for our meal to be delivered. We were not very pleased with the meals either so we wouldn't return to dine there.

It took over an hour and a half to get our meal. Was over cooked and just warm. Sauces were the nicest thing.

Absolutely terrible. Waited over an hour and a half and never received food. Staff could not have cared less. Apparently it is a recurring theme at this place. Avoid this restaurant

Party of 8. All meals generous size. Gluten free guest thrilled with crumbed fish. Seafood pasta was a little light on seafood but all other meals were great.

Very pleasant with great meal. Bit noisy with announcements of raffle tickets.

Never been before on arrival lady at reservation desk just told us table 10 go find it.no explanation on how to order meal ect i had to go to the bar and ask and they just pointed over there.on finally going to correct register to order i ordered steak medium to well done with mash potatoe and vegies ,dinner came out with chips not mash and as i cut into steak it was rare not medium to well done.it was a pretty unprofessional bad experience and meal

Was my anniversary as i ordered I asked how long it may take for the food to come said 15-20 minutes as I had plans for later on in the night for me and my wife’s anniversary and waited an hour and 15 minutes as I went up to say can I get my money back they proceeded to say no and that I can take my food in a take away box I am extremely disappointed and out raged at this would never return or recommend to anyone

Booked table by the windows but got a table close to reception. It was a busy night as trivia was also on. Food was OK,but took about an hour to come out.

We tried the new menu and it was amazing. Lots of choices and something to suit all of our family. Service staff were very friendly and helpful. Our entrees came out in 10 minutes and our mains in about 25 mins. Everyone enjoyed their meal. It was a good night out.
