We love coming here as a family for brunch. Quick service, great coffee and tasty food. Lovely atmosphere and the kids love looking around the nursery plants too.

The atmosphere was fine, noisy but due to busy café on a Sunday morning. Food was overpriced for what it was, tasted nice.

We all absolutely loved the atmosphere. It was a calm and peaceful environment, the staff friendly and easy going and the food delicious. It was the perfect place for a relaxed breakfast for my dad. We thorougly enjoyed every aspect of our meal and time at The Smug Fig and plan on returning.

They changed the menu for this season. The spicy chicken burger I loved was not on the menu anymore. it was over priced for what I had.

The place was very busy and staff were very friendly. however. the portion size was so small.

Love this cafe, partly because the food has always been delicious, but also because of the plant nursery. We quickly ordered as we only had a one hour, but the food took 40-45 minutes to come out and one of us didn’t get the salmon cakes and poached eggs until she asked someone to check on her order. The salmon cakes and eggs came out separately, even though they should have been served together on one plate, and unfortunately they were not worth the wait. They were very dry. Hopefully this is just a one-off experience. The haloumi stack was delicious, but the bacon could have been cooked a bit more.

Just ok. My table was pointed out (not taken there) The menu and specials described before my dining partner had arrived. Ordering at a counter a bit ordinary. I think more effort could go into customer service and showing the customer you value them. Food was ok, but again, no wow factor (some cafes will add that little something that says, this is special, your valued. Eg garnish, an ingredient that’s a little luxury)

We always love The Smug Fig, missing some of the more decadent menu items post iso but completely understand and appreciate the limited menu. The staff are fantastic as always. Really enjoyed our first breakfast out as a family in a very long time!

Smug Fig is my Favorite place besides Ed Cafe. The staff are wonderful and I love that they're themselves and have a laugh. My parents love to go to Smug when they are visiting from Longreach. I recommend Smug Fig to everyone. Never feel rushed
