Love this place- a new home away from home. Great food and a wonderful atmosphere. Will definitely be back- regularly! Just a little hidden treasure.

Great food, dim lighting and the best espresso martinis in Sydney.....a warm friendly place. It's also tucked away in a quiet side street and has the added dimension of having some really interesting colourful history !

Nice place but unbelievably noisey. Also the staff could be more helpful...it was difficult placing an order & getting our bill. But the noise factor is why we won't be going back.

Excellent food and service. Great cocktails and fresh oysters. Loved it all, love the extensive drinks menu also. Nice to have such a variety on offer

Drinks were perfectly fine - friendly staff had couple of failed attempts getting the order completely right. Music was just that little bit too loud to make conversation easy.

Great vibe. Decor and fabulous glassware make this joint. Food is good. Unfortunately service was only occasionally interested, slow and error prone. Tuna steak came out as flank steak, drink waiter didn't know where in the menu the rose was and still didn't get a desert menu after multiple requests and waiting for half an hour.

It was very crowded an loud, making it difficult to have a conversation and sit comfortably without people from other tables sitting almost on top of us. The cocktails were also over priced and not fantastic. All in all, paid a lot for a very poor experience.

Food was scrumptious. The wait and drink staff were under the pump and both food and drinks were tardy. Great fitout, dry ice thrown sporadically on the floor adds to the charm. We would return.

Awesome ambience. Lively and fun. Good and service was amazing. Cocktails looked amazing (will have to try next time). Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

Simply splendid. The service is at the top of the list, the cocktails spectacluar and the food very good. I just love those one dollar oysters on a Thursday.

Food and drinks were ok. One of the floor staff was lovely. Other floor staff was not personable at all. Also spent the night coughing continually into her hands and then picking up new water glasses to reset tables... Was also very difficult to get and pay for the bill.

I love the Roosevelt, the drinks are a mix of Lobo and Baxter which is great fun! Food is tasty. The girls were a bit hasty last night but maybe it's just PMS. The Roosevelt still rules!

Got the chefs recommendation which was a selection of dishes for $62. Food was phenomenal and we left feeling really full. Highly recommended it to all my friends

It was not my first visit and it certainly will not be my last. This is one of the finest eateries in the Kings Cross area. The cocktail and wine list has something for everyone. Service is snappy and stylish. On this visit I had the silver dory served with radicchio which worked a treat. And at $15 was probably cheaper than the local fish and chips. Very highly commended.

We went for pre dinner drinks and the cocktails were great. Was a little noisy although staff were helpful and moved our table to slightly quieter spot.

This is such a great pub. Terrific wine list and simple food. What more you could you ask for? Classy and comfortable. Get dressed up and head there - it's worth the trip.

Nice food and good ambience. Really enjoyed our time there. I would recommend its beef sirloin and fisherman's pie. The staff is pretty good too although it was quite busy for Tuesday night

Sophisticated yet friendly. Highly recommend the cocktails and quality wines. We only ordered from the bar menu and the food was very good but not particularly memorable.

The food was great and timely and the venue was beautiful. The drinks took their time, though it didn't ruin the night. Excellent atmosphere, had a great night.

This has to be one of he finest eateries and cocktail bars in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney. Very highly recommended. The oysters at $1 are outstanding.

The service from entry was very welcoming and whilst quite busy even at our early timeslot we had a wonderful dining experience sharing all the entrees which were divine. Well worth a visit .

Love that you can book a table for drinks! Good cocktail list ( lots tequila, bourbon & Whisky based) and good service. Diverse range of age groups

very noisy staff not educated much on the menu very slow service for a Saturday night not enough staff. I expected some thing more classy after look at your web site but once we arrived it was very different to the website hats off to your website developer. wont come again.

I always love a cocktail at the Roosevelt. Love the ambience and the 1920s glamour!! The staff are very welcoming and provide a fabulous service.

Fantastic food - some of the best I've had in the area. The cocktails are a work of art, but they also have a quality wine list.

The Roosevelt is a great experience - delicious food, cocktails, friendly wait staff, comfortable atmosphere and always, always the perfect playlist in the background (which is loud enough to enjoy/hear, but not so loud as to ruin your evening)

The restaurant is lovely, and the food was fantastic, however, we felt that once we told the waitress that we were not drinking alcohol, we were no longer treated favourably. We had to chase down the attention of the waitress to try and get menu's so that we could order food, however, she just brought us our bill - not really a great experience, thankfully the food and ambience made up for this.

Service was good however the courses took a long time in between to come out. Otherwise, the food was good. I probably will go back on a special occasion.

Great atmosphere and we loved the style of the bar. The cocktails were amazing and quite strong so good to sit on for a while. It's on the expensive side but I think worth it.

The food and drinks were great and the women serving were as efficient and lovely as ever. The only thing that could have improved the evening would have been a little less volume on the music speakers which seemed to get louder as the night went on.

Cocktails, canapés & ambience! Couldn't ask for more, loved every minute! The decor is dark & mysterious, the cocktails exotic & the food keeps your mouth watering & wanting more.

Awesome atmosphere! Little gem hidden away in Potts Point. Highly recommend. Good first date spot or a catch up with the girls. The Nitro Pina Colada is amazing!

Convenient small but nicely decorated hotel. Not many options for a gluten free breakfast but great fresh juices. Staff were friendly with a welcoming warm cookie

Attentive service, great wine list and selection of cocktails. The 'feed me' option for approx. $60pp (banquet for want of a better word) was very delicious! Great choices and plentiful for the table. We left very satisfied. Will happily return. Thank you!

A lovely place with food, drinks, people who work there all equally wonderful. It is a great piece of Sydney history that feels a little bit New York.

Very nice venue and good atmosphere. The food was great and plenty of choice for gluten free. Staff are very friendly. Great music completed an enjoyable dining experience.

Last Sat night it's been the second time we have visited this resto since returning to SYD in June; great atmosphere, good customer service and the food experience was excellent. As for the wine, God save the Malbec we had! Beaufiful - keep it up:):) cheered, Martin.

Love the atmosphere at the Roosevelt! Cocktails are spectacular, service is impeccable and food is delicious! Potts Point is becoming quite the restaurant and bar hub - between the Roosevelt, The Apollo, Yellow and Monopole - I can't wait to return!

The service and the food was very average. The room was dark and seemed dirty.

Food and drinks were great, but the place was really busy, so service suffered. We waited a long time for a couple of simple beers, and again to pay the bill. And the place gets quite noisy, so it's hard to enjoy a conversation.

Good venue for interesting cocktails. Food was. A little bit disappointing - ordered the oysters which had shell fragments in them. And the beef was quite chewy.
