The French Table

Pleasant atmosphere, didn’t feel pressured to order and waiter didn’t hover around our table unless we initiated a conversation. Food was well presented and delicious, especially dessert.

It was spectacular. The service really made the night and the food was delicious.

We haven’t had a chance to get to this place this year and the changes are great. Menu is too much of a good thing and hard to choose as it all looks so yummy. The share entree and dessert plates are a great idea. We had such a lovely time that we are going to organise a Christmas lunch for our car club in December to dine there.

Amazing Service, exceptional food. New menu has a wonderful variety. Wine 🍷 selection wasn’t as favourable this time however, overall experience was top rated. This is our 3rd time visiting, and will definitely book again.

We had been meaning to try The French Table for a long time. To celebrate the 2024 TDF my wife and I and friends of ours finally tried this little gem. The service was second to none-Ilan, Chaqulin and Fabio were very patient, helpful, gracious and attentive. The food lived up to expectation! 10/10. We will be back!

My husband and I ordered a chateaubriand and nobody asked us how we would like it cooked. It came to us 'blue'. I told them it was too undercooked for me and they whisked it away and brought it back slightly more cooked, but it smelled terrible. It smelt like the meat was off. My husband sent it back to the chef to smell, only to be told that it was fresh into the restaurant that morning. We got a container and took it home to our dogs. Perhaps it was the seasoning they used? Over $100 for dog food...can't say we will be back! Our friends appeared to enjoy their food.

It was a busy Saturday night but service was still crisp and food was presented within good wait times. This restaurant prides itself in serving great food with owner well involved with customers.

We took my 97 year old mother (wheelie walker and all) out for a family dinner a the The French table. The staff could not have been more obliging, the food any more spectacular or the ambience any more satisfying. Thoroughly recommend it!

Fabulous. Every detail was perfect. The food was exquisite, the service friendly, prompt and professional and finally the decor was thoroughly French and beautifully done.

The service is exceptional and food is very tasty. I would highly recommend to anyone who likes to dine at a up market restaurant.

Took my Mum for her 87th Birthday Lunch Food and Service were fantastic. Mum order the Sirloin and could cut it with the dinner knife it was that tender. Please visit this lovely Restaurant.

We had the 6 course 'Dègustation' meals. Amazing! It shows the great range of skills the chef has. Totally worth it! The wait staff was very warm and friendly, and I was impressed how he knew each course in-depth. We'll be back soon, to try the 'Grillè Night'.

Great food, good service. A little squishy in the seating department but overall, loved it. Loved the singer on Valentines night. (Dr. love) he was the best.

We had a table for 4 guests. Unfortunilty we did not feel the food was up to the high standard we come to expect form the French Table. The risotto was a little bland and had everyone asking for the salt and pepper. The pork was quite fatty and while the dish was nice, the cut of meat could have been much better. Service was good but not your fine dining experience you would expect when paying over $100 pp for dinner.

So good! Beautiful food and wines, fabulous service. Such a great night! Always happy to cater to coeliacs which is often a minefield when we try to eat out.

A lot of changes were made - some good, some not so good. Prices have gone up quite a bit. Presentation of escargot not up to usual standard - needed proper bread to soak up the flavoured oil not just 4 bits of mini toasts. Lamb meal was very small - not enough for my husband. On a positive note - the desserts were wonderful, the duck amazing! We love coming here.

The entrees were very nice however our mains were average. We use to frequent this restaurant many years ago and really loved it but unfortunately the quality has dropped off. The service was excellent .
