The food and the staff were amazing. Excellent service .
Good service, especially with a full restaurant before a play at the Seymour Centre. excellent food.
A very cosy little pub with extremely attentive and friendly staff. Extensive menu, the food was beautifully presented. We will definitely go back again.
The barramundi was delivered to the table at least 8 minutes behind the other 4 dishes
Some of us needed a variation to the menu and they obliged. Very appreciative. Unfortunately like many eateries the menu has a wide choice for people who like their food a bit spicey but many don’t.
We arrived about the booked time, to find the table set, with a water jug and glasses at the table. Lovely atmosphere and good food. Well done.
Overall, we enjoyed. Nice variety on the menu. Arancini’s outside was tasty with sauce, but not do much the rice/consistency on the inside. Vegetable plate was good, but not entirely as described on the menu. Bolognese was good and piping hot. Interior was eclectically interesting. A good place before theatre at the Seymour.
Great Sunday roast we will be back soon we hope
The Duck Inn is convenient for the Seymour Centre, the food is good and usually not too crowded.
Food is always good and lovely ambience - more like the idea of a club than a pub.
Nice food at a reasonable price, and plenty of space on a Friday night.
Pretty good pub food, in a quirky little pub. Small but comfy beer garden.
Food was excellent but service slow and not a second break between entrees and main. Could have done without the chilli in the bruschetta though but that's me
Service and food were both good and the ambiance was fine.
Ordered fish and chips - fish seemed to have been twice cooked and chips also.
Nice food at affordable prices. Ask to sit out back
Polite staff but meal took far too long to arrive
A lovely, friendly neighbourhood pub, bistro & beer garden. The Duck Inn is a regular for us & never disappoints. This time, eight of us had a meal in the bistro before a show at the Seymour Centre. Our table was ready in the bright, fresh bistro; we were welcomed on arrival and the lovely food & drinks (my faves: warm winter vegetable bowls & a crisp Chablis ;-) arrived promptly. The whole place has a great vibe, we'll be back soon.
Delicious food, attentive service. Great place to dine prior to a performance at the Seymour Centre.
Obviously popular! Friendly and welcoming goods hearty portions and pub food classics good value!
Food was mediocre. Bruschetta was ordinary and bread needed to be more toasted. Chips weren’t hot. A disappointing meal.
Good food ,prompt service ,overall we had a great night.
Great dinner before our show (at Seymour Centre). Excellent pork belly, great beers and reasonably priced
Lovely old pub. Food and service was very good. Obliging service and food was served quickly as they confirmed we were heading off to the theatre. I am coming back for a mains and dessert !
Really good food, and very friendly service. Had a great time
Excellent Sunday Roast as always - Thank you - we will return again soon
Thank you! Great food as always - Sunday roast is a winner
