Food good but service was not as expected.it has been better before.

I went with my friends, we were eight of us. The waitress was new so she was assisted by the owner who came when she was taking our orders and he assisted us in selecting some of the dishes we ordered for. She was very polite and did a great job and so were some of the other staff who accompanied her during food service. Every dish that we ordered was fresh and tasted great. The Prawn madras and the Mutton Roganjosh were outstanding. The naans were fresh. The kulfi was icy, needs a bit more in flavouring and creaminess and not that icy. On the whole the food was great and so was the service. I and my friends enjoyed it.

It’s been quite a while since our last visit but we’re glad we were back. The food was very tasty, served by friendly, helpful staff. Nice atmosphere too.

We were there mid-week and it was a quiet night there, but the restaurant is in a lovely historic homestead and would easily suit a large group booking. They have the tables set out in several rooms and on an outdoor verandah.

I have to say that the gardens seemed neglected and unattractive, where once upon a time they were beautiful and lush. Seemed sad to look out at the garden and see the dried up grass. Could easily be made into a rock garden with dry tolerant plants and statues for interest. The place was rather empty as it was a Sunday evening. So perhaps we were noticing more of the tired paint and other details due to this.

Excellent service with generous food portions and absolutely tasty food. The best thing about the different dishes were that each one had a distinctive taste. Very authentic. The entire ambiance was good.
