They have no rose wine, my husband wasn't asked if he wanted a second drink, his glass was taken and no thought to another one, it was almost impossible to get staff attention and there's no hoisin sauce. Apparently it's just easier to say - no we don't have.
Dined at 6 pm and left by 7.10 so the noise level as low and the service was very good
Wait staff were a bit confused Overall food arrived quickly and was good.
Great traditional Shanghai-style Chinese menu served perfectly, and not expensive
Delicious food but why don’t Chinese restaurants give you a bowl to eat off. Rice on a plate with chopsticks???
Really poor service - hard to get attention, got order wrong, food arrived at random times, very loud environment. Food was decent but would never go back.
We were going to the theatre so needed quick service and meals. The food was great as was the service. Unfortunately they left out a dish we ordered then it was too late to eat it before the theatre. They simply took it off the bill without question. I will definitely go back again
Dumplings too thick outside! Sichuan chicken very poor quality meat! Good service!
I should have dedicated more time to the meal. It was good. I rushed to get to the opera early. Mea culpa. I love the idea of indigenous ingredients. I will return some time.
The room was very cold. We had to ask for the air conditioner to be turned on. Even then it didnt make it very warm. Very very noisy. A group of 4 women and a man. Fortunately we werent sitting close to them.
Good however busy and slow, we were in rush as going to theatre. So didn't enjoyed as anxious for food to come out.
Lovely restaurant, I will be back in a few weeks' time.
Food came out quickly. Great for pre theatre feed. Food was tasty.
Love the decor at The Bund. The waiter was so good and the food is delicious
Last minute surcharge of 11 % because we had 8 people.
Sang Choi bow was lovely .. so was salt n pepper calamari … fried rice good and kung pai chicken good .. have not eaten here for a while as last time food was well below average … now it has improved enormously
We left after 20 minutes waiting to be served. More staff required in this place to serve pre theatre diners.
Good service! Lovely food! We will be back! Thank you!
In spite of not having a huge menu (or maybe because of it) the food here is always tasty and beautifully cooked. It's quick too
The Bund is one of my favourite Chinese restaurants. Good food, good value and attentive, obliging staff. It was rather noisy due to the arrival of a very large group (14+ people) but noise is not usually an issue.
Food is ok, service a bit slow. Venue very loud difficult to converse.
After half an hour we weren't served so we left as staff told us we couldn't be served within the next hour
Didn’t have our booking. Other people who turned up the same had similar experience. Entrees came after some mains. Very slow and no excuses. Over-priced for what you got. Won’t go back!
Food was excellent. Staff were helpful and pleasant but the service was muddled. Entrees and main arrived in no particular order and we did not receive one dish.
Great tasty food and lovely service by the waiter tonight
Great food, fresh and light and flavoursome. Good service, good wine list.
The food was exceptional and I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff were very fr
Food was ok at best, and dumplings came after stir fried mains which was weird. Would not go back.
Our visit was very pleasant. Food was very delicious and we could eat calmly and still be in time for the theatre. Service was excellent
Great food, lovely staff, fabulous feel and ambiance, would go back again
Great food , professionals friendly staff . Would definitely recommend this place.
terribly expensive for what we received ... many of the old items that were on their menu eg spring onion pancake have gone and nothing to replace them. Probably won't return after having been 3 or 4 time over the last couple of years before going to the theatre.
Nice food, great staff 😄 not too expensive, will recommend to others
Overrated. Messy service (Starter, Main, Wait, Starter, Main) and easily the most over priced dish I can remember - their $16 san choy bow with 2 lettuce leaves smaller than a feather. Would not return nor recommend for a pre theatre dinner. A shame.
Quick, pleasant service and yummy food. Will certainly visit again.
Nice food, extensive menu, friendly service makes for a great pre theatre option.
