Thai Chiang Rai - Phillip

Had a very enjoyable evening at Thai Chang Rai Woden last night catching up with an old friend from interstate. Food was great & the ambiance of the venue was lovely.

Very friendly and accommodating. We had a small group. The food was excellent-a good range and delicious. Would highly recommend it for a quite and relaxed dinner.

Great food excellent service fantastic night. Can highly recommend the fish cakes, coconut prawns and the scallop and macadamia stir fry. Can't wait to return for another meal.

The food was quite good, but service was very slow. The person who served us was obliging and friendly, but I don't think we will be returning.

Well laid out and attractive restaurant with plenty of room between tables. Menu selection was very good as was the food quality itself(certainly above average). Servings were substantial in size and food was served hot. The staff were pleasant and well presented. They communicated well and were attentive to our needs and the timing of the courses etc. Wine range was quite good and prices were about average for alcohol. Only negative was actually making a booking. We rang twice (6:30 PM on two different week days) and got a recorded message first time (no one called back in next 24 hours), rang back next night and it simply didn't get answered. We ended up booking on-line which worked well but I wonder how much business they lose through not handling calls/bookings/enquiries directly.

Food was good, decor was lovely. Service was a bit hit and miss, though. Quite expensive for the food quality but overall an enjoyable evening. Would return as the ambience was nice, calm and enjoyable.
