The service from the staff was excellent plus the food was very good to taste. Plenty of food to eat & would recommend in going back there again.

It is a favourite for me and my friends who live in different corners of Melbourne to meet.

Amazing food the at most and service you could count on

Food was great! Especially loved their fluffy egg omelette which is not just ‘another egg omelette’ and sparked my taste buds.

The place is pretty and elegant, but in my opinion the food is really overpriced and tastes relatively average, but you could tell the seafood was high quality though. The wait staff gave off an awkward vibe and almost seemed rude.

Good food and very good staff altogether an excellent night

If I had the opportunity for a last meal before I fell off this mortal coil, it would have to include fluffy omelette with lobster. This is among the best dishes I have ever eaten ... might not look much but it is luscious, silky and lobstery. I always have this when I dine at Teahouse at Chinatown. Do try it ... you won’t regret it

We were sad to see empty tables at this excellent restaurant due to, I guess, fear of COVID 19. We are optimists and trust good venues like Teahouse

This is our go to restaurant when heading to the theatres close by. The meals are a nice size, and always delicious. The service is prompt and efficient, which always ensures we are at the theatre on time. Happy to recommend, and we will be back again to enjoy a meal before the next show we go to!

The food was fresh but disappointed the beautiful prawns were served on a bed of bland dried egg noodles, the latter being more reminiscent of 1970s Chinese-Aussie palate. Think they should try to improve on their overall noodle section.

Highly recommend - so close to the theatres - very convenient.

My husband and I have been eating here for many years. Yesterday we were a group of 8. We enjoyed the same excellent service, food and wine that we have received over the years when it has been just the two of us. There was another table of 10 in the restaurant at the same time, and a group of 6, plus many other smaller tables were occupied. None of this affected the gracious, efficient service we received. And the quiet, relaxed environment was the same as ever. Everyone at our table had a most enjoyable pre-Christmas lunch. We'll be back in 2020!!!
