It was $15 burger night, we all had a tasty burger and were very happy with the food and the service.

Great lunch specials, pleasant staff and nice atmosphere, will be returning

This is our favourite pub to bring the kids. Saturday night was really busy and we wouldn’t have got a table without a booking.

A fantastic family pub. We all enjoyed our meals and sat in the beer garden near the kids playground which was great fun for the kids!

Reserved table not set for the correct number of people. Sauces were put with the wrong dishes.

The atmosphere was good, child friendly and the table was spacious. However, the steak I ordered (scotch fillet) was a bit chewy and dry unfortunately. It was also noisy as they had a footy game on screen, live music and the children run around at the same time. The live music was quite enjoyable.

Second year in a row we have enjoyed an amazing Mother’s Day lunch at this wonderful venue.

The entrees were beautiful with the exception of the corn bread which was dry & crumbly and not nice at all. The 3 steaks ordered were cooked perfectly with beautiful sauces & sides. Unfortunately the chilli prawn & crab pasta was bland & tasteless. The table took forever to be cleared and we left straight after due to the amount of flies hovering over the table. What could have been an amazing lunch unfortunately had a few letdowns.

The ambience of the place is good, not too loud even for a Saturday Night. Food was good but fell short abit as the breading of the chicken had some kind of taste. But the gravy is delicious. Overall good value for money considering the size portion.

This is the second time we have had a family dinner/ birthday at SJ's Hamilton and both times have been fabulous, food is great, staff are friendly and helpful. We will most certainly be back.

We had a lovely dinner at SJ's. Our meal was big and the mashed potato was the best I've ever had.

We ordered 2 drinks with our meal and it took about 20 minutes for them to come out, only after I had asked the staff that brought us our main meal...

Apart from the arrogant people who moved our booked table to somewhere else., it was an enjoyable lunch.

Restaurant order taker was rude, only one red meat option available. Not enjoyable.

We had a great time in the beer garden as our 2 kids could use the play ground. We specifically chose SJH for this reason. We could supervise and still enjoy the great food. Service was good too!

Started with the chilli squid, pot sticker chicken wings, cheese & bacon garlic bread. Mains were 250g scotch fillet, mushroom pasta & garlic prawn pasta. Chilli squid was covered in sweet chilli sauce that there was a pool of it on the plate and was quite rubbery. The chicken wings had no flavour and not very nice. Disappointing start. The mains were better. The mushroom pasta was nice but it had no spinach as stated on menu and had chilli in it which was also not mentioned on the menu. The garlic prawn pasta was more like a chilli pasta. Was spicy but plenty of prawns. steak cooked well but could tell was cheap cut. Nice beer garden and good kids area. Overall very very average and probably wont be back.

Bar Service was great, food was average at best... the Duck salad was dry and possibly shouldn't be called a duck salad because of the lack of ! Popcorn chicken was very dry, overcooked and uninviting to eat. The Beef burger was very tasty and would recommend.
