Great evening - lovely service and great food. The atmosphere was not as good as if it had more clientele but it was a mid-week night. Highly recommend.

I’ve tried Turkish food all over Sydney and Wed nights traditional yaprak döner kebab was the best I’ve had. It tasted like I was back in Istanbul Turkey 💯 We’ll be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s usually a good thing when the chef is also the owner as is the case at Sumac and Onion. The food is authentic and delicious and the service friendly and easy. We enjoyed our meal and will be back.

The meal was delicious and the atmosphere conducive to a long night of chatting with friends; that is if Sydney's non-existent night life were more like Turkiye's.
