Steel Tree @ The Foreshore

Efficient service. Did not have to wait long for the food to be brought to the table, the staff were friendly .Will certainly go back again. As the lod saying goes when on a good thing stick to it.

The floor staff were lovely, but unfortunately the experience was not. We were only just about halfway through our entree when the main meals began to get brought to the table. We sent them away as we were nowhere near ready since still eating first course. Our meals were taken and placed under the servers warming light. We watched them sit there. Once we finished our entrees the waitress picked up those same meals and brought them to the table. Our meals had sat there for 15 minutes by this time. The meals were all cold and we sent them back, advising we were not happy that they re-served us meals that had sat for 15 minutes, the waitress asked us if we had timed it, and we told her we had! The serving manager came over and apologised advising she would have fresh meals made and that this should not have happened. We waited for our meals to be made and eventually the "fresh" meals were brought out. One steak meal was cooked beautifully, but had the wrong sauce! The fish meals were terrible and we couldn't eat them, the fish was tasteless and soggy. And the others steak meal was forgotten altogether! Front end staff were very apologetic and attempted to make amends and compensate us with a discount! Will never go back to this restaurant and would not recommend to others.

The poached eggs were overcooked but the coffee was perfect, the service was timely and the Hollandaise sauce was delicious. Would recommend The Steel Tree to anyone.

Delicious food, superb service and excellent value. I love this place. Thank you for helping to make my 50th birthday family lunch special. Would definitely come back again.

Beautiful meal as usual I thoroughly Recommend the Honey Stung chicken salad.... divine! Great friendly staff, beautiful surroundings service without fault. Will be back again!

Had the special for lunch honey chicken with crispy noodle salad. A beautiful meal and great service. Booking a must for lunch and dinner otherwise just roll in for coffee and cake

The food was amazeballs!! Very generous portions.... and the garlic bread to die for. Friendly staff, who knew their menu and how it was put together... I was impressed. We chose to sit outside on a warm evening, which was lovely. Only real complaint was the rubbish blowing around our feet, not your fault as it had obviously blown in from the street.

Everything is great the food the service and wine plus great atmosphere! Prices are the best in rockingham ! Will keep going back look forward to next time

Try the Oysters Kilpatrick. Best in Rockingham. Ask for the tobasco bottle though. Meals are well priced, services is excellent. Not a great selection of meals, but they prepare what they do serve very well

Fab location, large filling and delicious meal. Perfect location for an evening summer meal. Attentive staff. The only minor fault if you could say it is was there wasn't enough ice in my partners bourbon, but once we asked for more ice it was done straight away. Will be back again for sure!!!

Enjoyed the experience catching up with friends but not the food, the lunch special was very basic the salad only had lettuce and crispy noodles and chicken

The service here is excellent and the food is delicious! I had a strawberry milkshake and pancakes with a sausage on the side! Great location

The steel tree do fabulous offers through the week and weekend at reasonable prices. Excellent food excellebt service at a fab location 5***** More places on Rockingham Foreshore need to learn from the offers the Steel Tree put out to their customers!

A top class restaurant. Very fast service, a wide ranging menu, ( I loved the Thai curry ) and caring staff. We have been to this Rockingham foreshore based restaurant a number of times and the standard is always quite high. No wonder we, and our friends, keep going back. Great!!

Always good food and service. Reef on reef was superb. Enjoyed the steak, desserts were great too. Staff are friendly, male waiter in particular is always on the ball and provides fantastic service and advice.

It was my first vist to The Steel Tree on the foreshore and will definitely be returning. The food was excellent and at a great price, the girls were really friendly and made us feel welcome. Although they did forget to sing Happy Birthday to my Aunty😊 i will forgive them as they were very busy. Highly recommend trying it out.

Great service and friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere and decor. Good size meals even specials. Even got some pizza to take home. Would definately recommend it.

The food was excellent, it is a pity that the specials have gone up to $12. The food was served quickly and with a glass of water.

We asked for sweets menu and told the waitress that we were going to share, to our surprise they came out with 2 bowls with it shared already. Overall we were happy with food and service.

This was our first time eatig here. There were 7 of us altogether and most of us took advantage of the $10 lunch specials, the food was pretty good and a decent size for the price. We will be coming back again

Honey stung chicken salad was delicious and great value at $12 . Lots more lunch specials. Was hard to choose. Great service. Quickly becoming my go to casual lunch get together favourite.

I rang you and booked to have lunch for two at 12.00 noon and when we arrived I was told there was no booking made for me but they managed to squeeze us into a table outside. This was a bit disappointing as I said I had received an email confirming my appointment.

Books ahead as its busy. Given choice of table location but chose outside as weather is wonderful. Service was prompt and efficient. The waitress was extremely helpful in explaining daily specials plus the composition of dishes. My guest and I chose off the daily lunch specials menu. So many wonderful choices.

Good cheap lunch ($10) but drinks, desserts, and extras cost a bit. Good service, very friendly staff who cant do enough for you. All in all, would recommend this cafe/restaurant.

Was very busy so service was slow , eggs were so over cooked shouldn't have been served. But waitress staff did an amazing job .

The reservation actually didn't come through! However the Steeltree came through wonderfully and as we were a big group put tables together and then, as always, served us cheerfully with delicious food

Excellent service by wait staff and compliments to the chef for catering to our special dietry requirements which included severe seafood and nut allergy, dairy allergy and vegan.

we were seated right inside the doorway & pushed around a fair bit when people were entering & leaving, no room for people with walking frames, The food was good, service excellent but the place is tight, poorly set out.

We had the $10 lunch option. It was served quickly with a friendly smile and was delicious and sufficient too. Will definitely be heading back there again.

SteelTree is my favourite restaurant, the food is delicious ,they have a great menu something for everyone,they have special's all the time.The staff are so friendly .I have been going to the steeL tree for over 12 months, sometimes just for a coffee , but always made welcome. Doing a great job Clint and guys.xx
