Lovely food and staff were lovely too , steak cooked exactly how I ordered it

Quiet restaurant but that suits me. Atmosphere is a little bleak which is due to the darker lighting and tones they have. No complaints on food or service.

Terrible. Waited for food for 1 hr. Saw the chef on his mobile phone while cooking and then held his phone on his shoulder and proceeded to prepare food! I did not see any hand washing. We are not coming back

We had a lovely evening. Sat in a nice spot & restaurant was not too busy. It was Monday night, so I guess that’s why it was quiet. Staff were friendly & food was delicious.

Food was great but just a bit dissapointed that the sauce was cold and the meat was not sizzling on the cast iron plates. Other than that, I will keep coming back.

Unfortunately the food is a let down. My steak is overcooked and so was my sister's and brother in-law's.

Absolutely amazing. My wife and I attended for our 6th wedding anniversary. From the moment we entered we were welcomed and felt at home. The ribs and salmon were amazing. I can’t wait to come back!

we ask for two medium well steaks, we received one steak completely burnt on outside and the inner steak was completely cooked through like we asked for well done. the other steak was cooked pretty well .Service wasn't the best as we had to keep asking for drinks even though we allowed a few minutes for them to realise it. I believe they had new staff on, however on a event like Valentines Day it should be run more efficiently, also their was a set menu on which was fine, however you couldn't buy any extras on the menu which I believe it was silly from a customer's perspective.

Got told there is a set menu when it wasn’t told when made the booking.. very disappointing!

Had to ask for our menus for the table Had to go up to the bar and ask for water for the table Had to ask for our menu to be taken Had to ask for bread for the table- other tables were getting it, that were there way after us to be told it was sold out - then they found some. Dirty dishes on our table for 45 min after we had finished eating

Our steaks were ordered to be cooked medium and they were served medium rare. As i bough this to the waiters attention he was kind enough to offer to have them re cooked. I was fine with this not a huge issue, however as a steak restaurant and with the price your paying you would image it would be cooked right the first time. The restaurant manager then came over to advise me that the steaks were actually medium and not medium rare, however as my family and I eat out and also eat at steak restaurants regularly I can tell the difference between both and in this case the meat was still very rare and quite obviously under cooked in the center. I'm a pretty reasonable person and didn't want anything in return other than my meat re cooked a little longer and maybe an apology. Nothing more that a little " yes my apologies for this I can see the steak is under cooked". She actually tried to explain to me that it was because the eye fillets all 3 of us ordered were a thicker cut of meat. In which I replied yes i know therefore this would mean it needs to be cooked a little longer than any other thinner cut of meat "correct". She agreed but still went on to say the meat was cooked to medium and that I was wrong. We have dinned at many Squires Loft restaurants and this would have to be unfortunately the worst experience by far. We wont go back to Werribee SL that's for sure.

The rib eye was absolutely delicious . The wait staff need to communicate with each other better, multiple staff kept asking us if we were ready to order we felt a little bit hassled by that but otherwise it was great

Have been coming here since first opened but we received bad service over 8months ago due to lack of prompt service . So we decided to try it again and can honestly say they have picked up there game and won us over again, Cheers

I love squires and regularly visit for a steak and squires baste. This time the steak was inedible, rubbery and way overcooked. When I told the waiter he told me it was my fault for ordering it medium well.. considering this was my usual order it was A pretty disrespectful Response.

All wait staff were very helpful & friendly, in particular the younger staff members. The food was delicious as usual.

About 8 staff came up to ask us how was the food while we were eating and they were all different staff. Maybe allocating staff to certain tables might help this. Meat was cooked unevenly but a beautiful cut and we ate it still. Possibly a grill issue rather than chef. Otherwise atmosphere was great!

A Lady was so drunk laughing her head off it really made mine and my partners night a bad experience as staff could not control her, my opinion stopping the service of alcohol consumed would have helped....
