Squires Loft - South Yarra

A warm welcome, good service and a very tasty meal. The best steak in South Yarra. The environment is very cosy and the restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of South Yarra.

We went early on a Friday night and the service was good. We felt a bit squashed as three people on a table for two with an extra chair. Food was good and cooked as ordered. The best thing from my point of view is that most of the menu is gluten free. Overall fairly expensive, particularly $5 for sauce to go with your steak.

Good and friendly service and great food. Enjoyed the enitire meal. Steak was perfectly cooked. We often come here and it is consistently very good.

Excellent steak, would be nice to have some salad with the steak without havin to order an extra salad dish. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Took our client out for lunch. Great friendly service from all staff. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and a great suggestion from our waiter for the accompanying wine. A very enjoyable meal thank you!

Melt in your mouth, perfectly cooked steak. Casual atmosphere with attentive and always friendly service. Never been disappointed with the beef or service at this location, the original store and in my opinion the best.

One of the best steak places in Melbourne now for many years. Attention to detail on the menu combined with a complimentary wine list, and a vibrant busy vibe make this place a must try for avid meat lovers!

The service we received was excellent and the food here is always good. There are options for those that don't eat red meat as well.

When ordering steak you shouldn’t have to pay extra for sauce, this makes no sense as if we didn’t order sauce our meal would have been dry. Put the price up on the steak and don’t charge for sauce if your that cheap for our money

Lunch special is great. Had the stake which was perfectly cooked. Would recommend this venue to anyone to discuss business opportunities and toast to success.

Always great food. Get the pork ribs and steak combo. Always great. As a starter try the baked mushrooms - not for me but my wife loves them. And normally she Hart’s mushrooms!
