Squires Loft - South Yarra

Our steak were delicious as it is always. We've been here a few times, never make me disappointed.

Really nice place to visit for a celebration or treat. A bit on the expensive side but great quality food and ingredients (even if portions are a bit on the smaller side). Highly recommend

Both meat lovers and vegans can eat here. Aged steaks, soft and juicy - no sauces needed. Mushroom, capsicum and zucchini skewers with roast pumpkin were just divine. Love this place. Excellent wines too but unfortunately no non-alcoholic wines. Mocktails were delicious.

Fast and attentive service. Great food - would recommend the garlic or pepper sauces with the steaks.

So disappointed tonight, it took 30 mins to order a drink, 45 mins to get it, $50 eye fillet steak was over cooked but my partners rump was perfect. We were told the delays tonight were due to Xmas groups arriving late - yet we still get charged the same for greatly reduced service and standards. An example of the penny pinching is the free bread being reduced to two small pieces from what used to be 4. We used to buy at least 2 bottles of wine each visit too but we just wanted to get out of there. What was once a regular local option for us is now a bitter disappointment. We supported SL through COVID ordering takeaways and this is how they repay their loyal customers. Not worth it

Food was great. The service was excellent even there were some training staff but the manager was good in explaining and solving the problem.
