Visited the SpreadEagle for a steak. The food was great and cooked to order. The portions were sizeable with tasty sides on the plate. Staff were friendly and fun.

Great atmosphere. Friendly and efficient staff and food good. Our first time here but we will definitely be returning. Stand out dish was the Parma special for just $16.

Busy front bar. However the staff were efficient and friendly so we didn't have to wait. Booking was confirmed and seen to without any hassles. Food was terrific. Couldn't fault the venue or staff. Great night had by all

The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious but the staff could have been a bit more attentive, took a little while to be asked for drinks/food.

The two ladies and guy running the front bar and restaurant floor on Anzac day were fully in control outstanding staff and great food. well done

Great steak for $18! my mate had the parma and i had a little bit of food envy also. Both meals where great and will be going back

Fantastic service, fantastic meal, fantastic beer...what more can one ask for? Had a great room upstairs with our group and then had a few more drinks listening to the live music!!

It wasn't too bad. Unfortunately there was too many very noisy Tigers supporters. The food was good. Our waitress was fantastic. The noise level there is insane.

The service was great and friendly. The brisket dish was ok, but felt it was overpriced at $44 ...excellent wine list, yummy tiramisu dessert and coffee

We went on steak night and were served the hugest bestest steaks. the sort you would pay $50 for anywhere. They were cooked medium rare as we requested perfectly. it was accompanied by a delicious salad and potato bake. delicious and really unbelievable value at $18.00

Great Sunday Specials. Good quick service. Chicken parmie was on point and cider is on specials as well. Would have given full stars if the fire was going, Brrrr!

Such good value, great service and delicious steak. Really flexible staff and love that they let you fix up the bill separately. Great choice of dining options - upstairs, downstairs and outside.

Love steak night here! Awesome food and staff. Absolutely need to book to come on a Wednesday as it's always packed. The Sunday afternoon sessions look good too, although I haven't tried that yet.

Nice but serving size too small, went to a pub looking for a feed that would satisfy and whilst some did the chicken breast was very small.

Good sized steak for $18 dollars on a Wednesday night. The steak was cooked as requested. This place is always consistently good and the staff friendly.

Disappointed with the dining area being close to the bar, was very noisy and had to raise our voices to hold a conversation. While the steaks ordered were done very well we felt it was overpriced given it was simply accompanied by some potato and rocket leaves.

We all had the Wednesday steak night special and every steak was cooked perfectly, great value at $18. Did not like being put upstairs as the was no atmosphere but service was exceptional.

Fantastic service as always brought a new friend along and she loved it. A little hot in there last night as it was a hot night so the air con could have been turned up a tad.

Great value steak and good atmosphere even in the upstairs rooms. Good selection of tap beers to complement the meal and attentive staff. Definitely go back on a regular basis based on the initial experience.

My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic steak meal each one of the best we have had, will return to try other choices on the menu.

The steak succulent and the dessert delicious. Our wine was the Heathcote shiraz, which was sublime. The atmosphere was very convivial and the staff were knowledgeable, courteous and efficient.

Wow..Amazing food and service...A hidden gem. Not too crowded, great pub ambience. Excellent value for money. Easy to get to from city. Highly recommend for a casual dining experience.

Our food was good and the price was right but what made the visit was the staff. Fantastic. They moved our table after we were seated in a doorway. We ordered KFC which is messy and the manager brought over extra napkins even though she didn't take our order. She just noticed we were eating the wings. Great recommendations from the staff for food choices also. Will go back. It was a Monday night and they were full. I think that tells you something.

Great pub atmosphere with a touch of class. Food was excellent as was the service. Being a group of HR practitioners dining, we were sure to pass on our feedback. Just sorry I don't have the young ladies name handy to acknowledge here! Oh, in addition, this can be an important factor for Richmond - parking was easy across the road.

I go to the Spread Eagle every time my parents are in town and I have never had a bad meal. Staff & food always amazing.

The Spready offers a choice of two Italian dishes and a glass of wine for $20. Excellent value and the dishes never fail to impress.

Always enjoy steak night at the Spready. Table service, friendly staff, nice neighbourhood atmosphere, excellent steaks and wine list. The almond chocolate cake was also much better than you'd expect from a pub.

Very helpful staff who reorganised our table quickly and everyone commented how wonderful the food was. Very enjoyable evening! Will book again in the near future.

I was recommended the Spready as the best steak night in town, so popular that reservations are required each and every week. From what looks like your standard old dodgy pub on Bridge Road from the outside, inside is sleek and yet comfortable space, with fabulous welcoming staff and just a great vibe. The star of the day, the steak, did not disappoint. Cooked to perfection, a slab of Porterhouse so big I was unable to finish it, accompanied by a delicious rocket salad and scalloped potato. This was my first visit to the Spready, but it most definitely will not be my last!

$18 for a steak is great value for money. The steak is always cooked to perfection. Sauce is an extra $3 but with it. Staff are always very accommodating and friendly.

Great vibrant pub. Great quality food & beverages. Sunday quiz is a fun time. Going up against the local teams. There is prizes from $50 to free booze. 👏👏😃

Enjoyed our meal- great service and food. Our table was in drafty spot and it was a cold night so I felt chilled for the duration of the meal. Generally very enjoyable and would go back but would seek different seating position. I was glad to get into car and crank up heater !!

only one caution...steak night is carried out in two shifts, early or late seatings...none the less you can't go wrong with the Spread Eagle Steak night. Excellent food, generous servings, great wines, fantastic welcoming service and all for a pub price. It's fast becoming my local.

Always great service and yummy food, my Richmond favourite. Remember to book as gets booked out early. Only negative is they had run out of the cheap wine lol

The Spread Eagle Hotel was very responsive when I booked a party of 20 for post-work drinks. They offered to reserve tables near the bar, as well as a dedicated bar menu. The open fire made it cosy and everyone had a fabulous time - I highly recommend the 'Spready' for after work drinks!
