My first time there and it was a perfect dinner

We always have a great time at The Spread Eagle hotel. Great atmosphere and the staff a very friendly. The winter menu has some hearty healthy choices

This was a fantastic experience. We were able to sit near the warm fire place as requested in our online booking, the staff were lovely, in particular one of our waitresses was well versed with the wines recommending a fabulous wine that I enjoyed with my equally stunning Roasted Pork Belly. Looking forward to our next visit and would highly recommend this Hotel. Thanks so much for a great experience :)

Restaurant atmosphere in a pub, always book as they get busy very popular especially with locals, food always great. Highly recommend.

Very friendly service and food cane out quickly and was great

I had the pork belly, which was served with a salsa of beans, which was inedible. Overpriced for what you received. Partner had lamb shoulder, and the quinou was not fresh. It tasted old and 'sour', if that makes sense. Korean chicken was ok. Result of the day was one day of gastro, source unknown. It was the only meal eaten that day, so came from the food, which was a shame.

Always a good feed at the spready before a football match. Fast efficient and lovely food.

We visit Melbourne once a year and always go to the Spread Eagle quiz afternoon!

The atmosphere was buzzing. Easter Thursday, afl from Brisbane. Live music. Great food. Great Staff Best beers on tap. It was members night meat tray and cold hard cash 💰 in they members draw. Super Pub

Service was friendly and efficient. Steak Night steak was magnificent! Great vibe in the venue. We’ll definitely be back (I can’t believe we hadn’t been there before!).

Great food, great staff,, such a good pub...a bit different to 20 years ago...

Had to ask to be served. Food was terrible. Calamari overcooked. Salmon was ordinary & you ran out. I'm a local so really disappointed & won;'t eat there again. Too many other choices in Richmond.

Steak night is always bustling. Need 2 hour sittings though.

Went in for steak night. Steak was cooked to perfection, although sides were a tad bland. What was disappointing though was to be told we had the table until 8 (booked at 6:30, totally fine) but then given the bill at 7pm and huddled off the table at 7:15. Waitress wasn’t polite.

Whilst many other food places in Bridge rd have shut down or been re invented the Spread Eagle is so consistant there is always Good Food Great service,vibrant atmosphere and close to home,what more could you want

We are regulars at the Spread Eagle. The best steak night in Richmond and we have tried most of them. Always well cooked and the staff are lovely.

Friendly and quick service, pleasant food very well presented, historic old pub with nice ambience. A little bit expensive but enjoyed the experience of dining here.

We had the rack of lamb which was on special on Saturday night. Only $60 for two with creamy mash potatoes, veggies and three sauces. It was amazing. Well worth the $60.

Staff friendly, obliging and attentative. The food was good, pork belly yummy and traditional parma also good. Would recommend, particularly in the winter when the open fire is active.

Very friendly and suavely. The food was good, a bit too much salat that came with the steak menu. But I still highly recommend it.

I went to lunch at Spread Eagle Hotel with my two sisters. We each had the porterhouse steak, which was cooked to perfection, and wow! So large, lean & tender. We also shared the chocolate ganache which was to die for. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.Will definitely return for another delicious meal.
