This was our second visit. We live in Perth and holiday a few times per year in Sydney. We left China Town to come back to Silom because the food is so amazing

We had a really nice experience with this restaurant. Nice atomosphere in a great neighbourhood, the food was really good, and I loved the fact that there was no music banging in our ears, unlike most places. Thank you!
Food was great but the services wasn't. We hadn't even been there for 1.5h when the waitress gave us the check. 5mins later the waiter came up to hurry us along. I asked the waitress if we can stay longer because we haven't been there long but she was rude and said she had people waiting outside to take our table. Nowhere was it said that we had a timed booking and had to leave after a certain time. Made the experience very unpelasant.
We have eaten here before on one occasion although the service was bad (they said there was no tables but there was a whole upstairs nearly empty and service was dismissive) the food was delicious so we were excited to go back. We made a booking in advance and we’re really looking forward to it. When we got there it wasn’t busy but we were ignored by staff for over 5 minutes. When I eventually got someone to speak to me I was told there were no tables and there wouldn’t be for the foreseeable, she didn’t seem to care about my booking or my multiple attempts to create a solution. There were tables we could have easily pulled together but she wasn’t interested. She just walked off and ignored me. I tried to grab the attention of another member of staff but she was similarly disinterested so we went somewhere else. Really disappointing because the food is delicious but definitely won’t be back not worth the hassle.
Fabulous Thai restaurant, D's an amazing chef, and his crew are total fun. Go for the fresh Barramundi with chilli and lime!
