This visit there was a break down in communication at times, however the food was still lovely. I think they couldn’t cope with a large group and the staff were run off their feet. Would still return as the food made up for it.

Was given paper cups for water instead of glasses which i assume because they couldn’t wash them in time. Waiters were running around and rushing, does not make for a good dining experience at all. However service was still good, staff were still smiling and gave it all they’ve got. Kudos to them. Manager/company needs to hire more people to lighten the stress and responsibility of both kitchen and wait staff. FOOD was pretty average, had some veg, tofu seafood & dumplings which came out last. Dumplings were a disappointment considering the name of the restaurant. Meat was bland and dry. The skin was a little doughy and too thick. I would definitely pay a little more to get better dumplings elsewhere. Probably never coming back again.

Busy place food was ok bit different to what we expected. Some of the dumplings were cold which was a bit disappointing as we had the ones with peanut sauce.

Great food, good value and excellent service. Will definitely return to this establishment. Alcohol pricing is also great compared to many restaurants. Selection of dishes is great.

We loved the services, dumplings and enjoyed dinning experiences. Surprisingly,....we ate 4 stacks of xiao long bao!!! The waiters & waitresses are very friendly too.

Lovely food but unfortunately the waitress had trouble understanding us. One meal wasn't exactly what we ordered but we enjoyed it anyway. Very reasonably priced as well. Ambiance nice.

Food was pretty good only problem: 1.the beer selection on tap was pretty limited and not great options; 2. lot of staff standing around not really keen to take your order at times.

Good quality simple dumplings made on site accompanyed by a great selection of regional Chinese dishes. It's our family casual dining regular that never disappoints. The staff and owners are friendly and very attentive. Highly recommended for a casual lunch or dinner.

Fantastic service and food. I organised dinner for a group of 25 people and they were super efficient. Would highly recommend the salted egg yolk shelled shrimp & the pork xiao long bao. The chicken mini buns are yummy as well as the pan fried pork dumplings! A must try.

Excellent fresh made dumplings and very nice staff. Whenever we go we can always get a table or booth (which is sometimes hard on Chapel St). I really like this place. And it is ridiculously cheap!

Love love love the food here! Highly recommend the dumplings in chilli oil, the prawn, pork and vegetable wontons and the green beans and pork dish. AMAZING! I overeat every time I come here. Bad for my waistline, but delicious!

Food was great, quick and efficient service and a well presented and clean restaurant. Will be sure to make a return appearance as well as highly recommend to friends and family.

Requested no chilli in the bbq pork dish and it was loaded with chilli could not eat it. Would not return even though it is cheap.

Large area which is good for groups. Delicious soup dumplings and generous portions for the vegetable dishes. only negative was that the waiter didn't know which dishes he was serving us - important when some dishes had seafood which one guest was allergic to.
