Thanks to the beautiful and friendly team who looked after my baby boy and I last night. We had Merimbula oysters and a selection of share plates that were all 10/10 individually! Thanks guys - posted my review on IG @melanejade too

Being a hot day a few ceiling fans would be nice,also the plates were cleared away whilst others were still eating, quite annoying

Such a gem in the heart of Evans Head. Superb food, cocktails with flair, excellent service, a lovely space and a great view to top it all off. Thank you everyone at The Sandbar.

Seated and not given menus, had to get them ourselves. Entrees were good. Scallops were good but the eggplant parmigiana were inedible. Told the waitress and she did not seem surprised. Service from staff very ordinary. Will not be back.

The starters were great, the Brie and hot honey chicken. However the rib fillet meal was meh. The jui tasted like packet gravy? The potatoes actually tasted gross. The only redeeming factor was the broccolini which was scrumptious. A gorgeous view, but the menu needs a revamp! This restaurant has so much potential!

The head waiter is amazing at her job! I’m really impressed because the food and service were outstanding. I suggest order review when it’s been taken. The first visit we didn’t get the garlic bread till the end, and the second time, no salad I ordered (unless she didn’t hear) but we were overall satisfied and enjoyed the view and atmosphere.

Superb food & service. This place is an absolute gem for Evans Head. A packed house doesn’t affect the efficiency of a top class team, who always deliver top class service with a smile. The food really is top shelf.

Hi, we were totally amazed at the whole experience. The restaurant has a nice friendly, laidback vibe. The view to the ocean was just beautiful. The service was friendly, efficient, just nice. The food was better than we expected, the fish fresh as and the veg great. Overall we really enjoyed the night out there and we will definitely be back and tell our friends about it.. Overall it was a good experience. A number people on our table ordered the same dish, however, some had garnishes and lemon wedges, some didn’t, some were presented beautifully and some were not. Consistency in plating would be good as some felt a little disappointed.

We love the Sandbar Restaurant but feel Chef is a bit heavy handed with the Chilli and Spice on delicate seafood like the scallop's and Bugs. Otherwise, great to have a good restaurant at Evans.

Absolutely delicious food, great drink choices and friendly, welcoming staff. A great experience and one we plan to repeat! The view was just unbelievable and so a perfect experience.
