Royal India Restaurant - Perth

Terribly disappointing. Firstly, on a 38 degree day the air conditioning was not functioning. Secondly, the service was poor - long waits for food. Thirdly, the food was sub-standard. All the main dishes had sauces that tasted like they had been poured out of a jar. Not a hint of fresh spices. The cachumber was off. The naan was oily and heavy.

Pleasant ambience and food was tasty. Parking was convenient too

Great good, service not bad! Would return and would recommend

Our group of seven were welcomed well. The food was tasty, however the quantity in each dish and size of the nans needs to be more and bigger.

Back to the Royal india of old. Good to see.

We have been here many times, and the food is always very good. The service however is definitely variable - it can be an effort sometimes to get someone's attention. Still worth it though!

Very good food and great service. Only downside was prices so high! $8.50 for water, bit pricey. However, I would still go again on special occasion as the food was delish.

I went to this Royal India for a dinner with my friend at 7;00 with booking on 16 of January 2025. the food was nice as always. but pilau rice portion was so small. Also, service was terrible. I suspect if all floor service staff could be part time jobs. the service of this shop used to be more professional and porite for the guest. the service I received today in this restaurant was a worst experience I have experienced before in this restaurant. The girl who serviced my table was unfrendly and not porite. I love this restaurant but I do not want to come this shop again, if this girl will work at the restaurant.

2 very different ends of the scale….food was amazing, tasty and highly recommended but service was non-existent. We felt like a burden in asking for our order to be taken. Arrived at 5pm for a 21st celebration with 15 people (pre-booked) and it was almost 9pm before our mains arrived. Had to regularly ask for a drink order and really were made to feel like we were inconveniencing the wait staff. Would not recommend a dine-in experience.

Food was great, service was alright can be improved. Music too loud, staff need to be more attentive.

The food was scrumptious. Great flavour and very tender. Staff were welcoming, friendly and professional and the resturant is very beautifully decorated. This place deserves lots of hungry customers!

Staff were a bit inexperienced but overall we had a good lunch and food was amazing

It was so noisy from the nearby tables that I could not hear what my lunch guest was saying. He has a strong West Indian accent which made it all the more difficult. So I would probably not book lunch there again.

Fresh tasting food. Really enjoyed the ambiance and good we ordered the tasty goat and eggplant curries. Shish kebab very good too. Will go back.
