Good table service. Amazing fresh oysters. Chef watching tables so he could see when we were ready for mains and it was only cooked then .. great work.
Excellent staff, great service, excellent meal. We have been dining here for the past 10years! Always friendly, great place.
The food is simple but delicious. The fish is fresh and tasty. Only disappointment was being charged a credit card surcharge despite paying in cash!
Good choice, helpful staff. Good selection of wine. Will go again.
The fish is always fresh and delicious, the meals came out quickly and the prices are good value.
Amazing food and excellent service. Will be back. Thanks so much
Haven’t been for a while but great seafood as always.
Friendly staff, fast service as we in a rush& we're running late, clean tidy open kitchen with no strange smells& very fresh oil2cook in serving fresh seafood!!!!
Our battered King George Whiting was deliciously fresh, cooked in perfect clean batter. Our meal came with lovely crisp chips & a small green salad 🥗 the staff were very friendly & accommodating! Thanks so much 🙏
We like dining here because the fish is so fresh and tasty.
It was fine nice food quick service friendly staff always
great evening meal before a performance at Her Majesty's :)
Seafood platter excellent value. Big oysters for entrees Great service
very pleasant good value and good food. Would go again
Good company great food good service will be back again
It was very busy and we had to wait, but food was delicious.
In some respects it's like stepping back in time as you enter - very old school and such a nice warm feeling. Simple decor and comfortable seating with different size tables depending on the size of your group - plus more seating upstairs. They have a very traditional menu - so simple food cooked really well. The fish was fresh and flavoursome and the chef was chatty as he cooked! The salad was nice, but an after thought with mostly lettuce and 1 slice of cucumber and 1 segment of tomatoe. The waitstaff were great and very helpful and the drinks list more than adequate. But, the fish is the reason you go there. So, if you're in Chinatown and have a longing for a traditional fish dinner, this is the place!
Équipe super sympa, et kids friendly, nourriture top, bonne ambiance
The best calamari, scallops and prawns my husband and I have ever eaten! Thank you George and team
Wow haven’t been here for 20 years but still one of the best seafood restaurants. Fresh fish made while you watch x yum yum
The food was very good along with the service and waiting time.
A really great meal and we were very well looked after.
Food, service, atmosphere fabulous. As good as it gets. Specially organised ginger to produce a super snapper and ginger dish. Cooked to perfection.
Nice and delicious food and good service. You can try.
We had a very good meal, ‘The Chef’s Special’ which was excellent. There was a good atmosphere in the restaurant and a mix of 50s-60s music playing in the background discreetly. This suited us fine as it was our youth era!
Warm greeting. Man poured 1/2 inch of wine left in a bottle, then went to top up with new bottle, not acceptable. I’m sure the prawn shaslicks not cooked from raw, hard to remove from skewer, set on the stick. Pre cooked? Good quality prawns but lacked any smoky or vibrant flavour, making me think just heated through. Disappointing.
Always start a visit to the city with a meal at Paul's. It never disappoints, food, service, atmosphere - all top notch. No waiting times as pre booked online and only noise was the clinking of wine glasses and scrapping of plates!! Highly recommend.
The meals were generous portions, the oysters very fresh and although the menu shows Canadian lobster tails, Southern Rock Lobster was provided on request. The meals were simply served with no overpowering dressings allowing the taste of the seafood to be appreciated.
Enjoyed our fish and calamari very much. We would go back to Paul’s.
Good seafood especially the king George whiting, scallops and oysters
Poor service and poor food. Avoid at all costs. Don’t go
Excellent all round, unfortunately the Moreton Bay Bugs were not available the night we went. Service and food were both very good.
Very disappointed with the seafood platter for two costs $50/pp which I can do and eat better with the beach view restaurant. Definitely not going back again.
excellent food and service had a lovely meal out today
Excellent food and service as usual. Great food tastes great.
Oysters were fantastic. The presentation of the seafood platter and price of 108 dollars (upgraded to the whiting) was not worth it.
Fantastic food and location, one of my special treats is going to Pauls because everything is just perfect.
squid was cooked so well, not under cooked and not like rubber.
Great food, absolutely delicious! Im not sure how they do it, but you have to try it! X
Food was fresh not over cooked and very friendly service reasonably price

Lovely atmosphere and good food. Enjoyed my dinner. Very Good
Was my first ever visit and will definitely return soon
Attesa molto lunga, cibo buono ma la frittura è un po' troppo pesante.
Food was delicious and would highly recommend for seafood lovers
Awesome food. Will be back. Everything was perfect. Loved the snapper.
