they provide a complimentary soup before the entree which is most welcomed. The home made bean curd was delicious so was the peking pork. However service was still slow despite not many patrons for the evening.
Good food, inexpensive bill, nice environment, and courteous services and waitering! A must to have , Peking Duck meal, - wraps made from their own restaurant!-delicious!
there used to be a complimentary soup before the entree but there is none this time. the Tong por meat was below expectation as it was not marinated long enough.
Food was very good, service also top class, felt it was a great Family feeling Restaurant, only issue is parking , can be very difficult
Service is poor. Most of deserts were unavailable. Only banana fritters and only two serves left. It's was a Saturday night, and by 9.45pm we had a hint that restaurant was trying to get us out.
Good food. But Staff was overselling . The fresh fish ( twice bigger and more expensive than we agreed on) was served when we have finished our meal. They should think long term, look after the best interest of customers for repeat business! Service was slow as well.
Food was good. However, service was very slow despite only 5 tables at 7.30pm. The waitress was more interested in upsizing and getting us to spend more instead of cultivating a win win to encourage repeat business! We were really full after over ordering, then the fish was served- a really fresh and nice fish- but way over sized and the price reflected this last dish for the night! Therefore, nice, but not nice. Hope they improve their intentions and service to encourage more genuine patrons! Looking at the empty tables, I cannot help understand why. Hope they take it in good spirit and hope for a win win next time!
Went to the restaurant last night. The services was pretty good. Environment was quite nice and comfortable. Food was a little over priced and some dishes were too salty. e.g. the beansprout with the shredded duck. The three course peking duck was average. Having said that, the duck and pancake were generous - 16pcs of pancake. The duck soup was just pickles vegetable soup and the second course for the duck is beansprouts with some shredded duck meat. This dish was a little too salty.
Very good deal but service will need to be improve and servings need to quicker. Overall pretty good value for money. Would recommend to people
First visit that did not disappoint. Traditional Cantonese dishes executed well. Portions were small relative to similar ilk establishments vis a vis pricing. Overall experience warrants a second visit.
We love coming to this place for family gatherings. They have great food with service to match. The Peking duck is must have when you visit.
Dishes on the set menu for Chinese New Year was pretty ordinary. Probably not their strong traits. Our previous visit year plus ago was not bad (normal dishes from their menu.
good ambience and environment, The peking duck was fabulous but not enough wrap. The service was so so but still ok since they seem to be understaffed.
slightly slow in getting dishes, can see the place is under staffed, hence the slow service. The condiments for the Peking duck arrived 20 minutes before the duck, which made us wonder if they had forgotten the duck.
The restaurant ran out of food!!?? Ordered crabs = no more. Ordered abalones = 10 left. Ordered oysters = 4 left. So so so so disappointed party for my mum's birthday and 20 guests. NEVER COME BACK
the peking duck was delicious and there were 2 extra wraps. The last time we were given about 10. we had 12 this time. It was crowded so service was a tad slow.
Food is good but table took a while before it was ready. Overall good value and environment is clean and tidy. So recommend to try.
Food is good and staff is really polite. Restaurant is so crowded with people even though on weekday, we went on Tuesday. Will definitely go back.
Food and service is just ok. Flavour wise, some dishes didn't rate or compare to other competitors in the same area. Spacious room inside makes it easy for large gatherings.
Nice ambience though slightly cramped with chairs too close to the next table. Service was slightly slow due to peak time but this is expected. Food was great though a dish came out below expectation compared to the last time we ordered that same dish.
Food good, service horrendous. They only interested in pushing all the food out try to get you out of the restaurant in shortest time possible.
The staff was overwhelmed so level of service was not so high. Food was good especially the Peking duck. will come again and hopefully on a quieter night.
We booked two tables about 20 people in total on Saturday 22 Apr 2017. The foods were not bad and reasonably priced. However, we found the restaurant was a bit disorganized. Some menu we pre-booked was not recorded. We waited for more than 10 minutes and no one bother to take any orders until we asked. Teas were ordered but only served after 15 minutes. Overall rating.. good food... but poor service, understaff and disorganized. Jerry Ng & Family
Very rushed Birthday dinner for grandma. Service was ok but hurried with a smile. Felt pressured to order extra after waiter suggested that it was inadequate. It was an expensive last minute addition of king prawns $85 for 12 prawns! It was served very late & we were too full to eat. Had to take home. We were there by 5:15, ordered dishes promptly, encouraged to move along, bill handed to us by 6:45. We managed to have the cake & song, photos cheerfully taken by waitress, cake portioned & served real efficiently quickly. Out before 7pm. Yes, us seniors got indigestion. Too popular to suit us.
The food is good. Restaurant is rather noisy as not be good for someone who wants to eat and chat. During payment, the cashier and a waiter tried to convince us to purchase the food vouchers, which is confusing!
The food is good and price is very reasonable. The Peking Duck is highly recommended. Yum Cha is good also. Strongly recommend, except parking might not be sufficient.
The restaurant provided my family with a very nice meal. The workers there were also very efficient and provided quick service. We had a lovely experience at Overseas.
Good food, adequately friendly customer service, but we were there at almost closing time, the staff were busy trying to clean our table before we actually finished our food. Also a little bit pricey, but will definitely be back!
The restaurant had overall good food, and it tasted very authentic as well. Will definitely return to this restaurant to try out other foods as well.
Keen services. Most dishes were tasty except the red wine beef spare ribs were too chewy and over cook. Reported but no service recover for this compliant dish. Good sales and marketing strategy to sell the coupons before get the value dishes such as Peking duck in $9.90 or Yum Cha dishes in $5.5 each.
Food was a bit slow to come out even when we got there early on a Saturday night. Overall food was good. Will visit the place again.
