OKAMI - Wantirna

Service was terrible. Wasn’t even the busiest I’ve seen the restaurant. Servings sizes were tiny and price goes up constantly.

I was expecting a biggest range of sushs, service was slow, food just ok, I found some dishes very heavy

The food is always great. It's a fun place to go with a larger group, though the noise levels make it hard to co-ordinate plates for the whole group to share.

Great staff, amazing fast fresh food and drinks. Down side it’s soo noisey that you struggle to hear conversations and staff struggle to hear your order. But I would still go again due to value.

Kitchen was extremely slow , some dishes missed, serving sequence was terrible. Serving staff were great not their fault.

Since our last visit to okami, the food menu have reduced significantly, we do not feel that it is value for money anymore.

Staff were very uninterested in our table of ten people I eat there at least once a month but was very disappointed in the staff they pulled faces when they walked away I don’t think the people I took will go back. That’s a pity as we love the food

My friend and I would have liked to “All you can eat” if we were very hungry. The dishes looked amazing. We ordered a la carte menu. Eggplant salad was unexpectedly yummy. The dessert was so good and the bill was very reasonable.

we frequent the Wantirna Okami, this night the food was not hot and seemed a bit old. the fried tempura was super greasy and the veggies were very dried out. the sushi was starting to dry out. the staff were wonderful, maybe just an off night? only two other issues are it does get super noisy and hard to talk to people your with and the chairs are very low.

Food served very quickly. Very happy with the food that came warm, very fresh and tasty. Love the Beef Carpaccio, egg plant salad, squid salad and mushroom salad :) Would be perfect with less MSG.

The staff were lovely and attentive, especially how busy the day was. Unfortunately a couple of items ordered when we first arrived, didn’t reach our table until the very end of the session (steamed veggies and spring rolls). Not sure why these items would have taken the longest to prepare?

Food quality is dropped too much. Beef is not tasty, fried chicken is not juicy. It is not worthy over $100 for this cuisine. Never want to come again.

We are always super satisfied everytime we visit Okami. We brought overseas relatives to dine. They are always travelling and have eaten at some of the best restaurants around the world. They were so impressed with the quality of the food and the value for money and said they preferred Okami to some of the hatted restaurants they've been to!

Always a winner for a quick all you can eat feed for the family. The kids love the fried rice and udon noodles!

We were aware of the 2 hour time frame however, when last orders were announced 30 mins prior to our 2 hours being up, we were annoyed as this was too early, meaning we needed to eat our last servings quite quickly and unable to enjoy them as we should. This was made worse when no-one, not a single person was waiting to be seated for the 2nd session. Two weeks earlier, we dined at another Okami Restaurant (Frankston) and were allowed to enjoy our last servings in peace and relaxation making our dining experience much more pleasurable. In saying this, the food was delicious and we will be back.

We love the okami restaurants! This one always tends to be quite loud inside though but the food is still always amazing!
