The booking and service was lovely, our booking was for 7pm - the food came out quickly, but the meals were all so dry and over cooked ,perhaps it had sat being heated /re heated for a long while - it was disappointing as it was presented beautifully … I’m sorry to leave criticism - again the service from the staff was lovely though ..

The food was absolutely amazing, although I hate the new ordering system. We waited over 30 minutes for our food as the new booking service did not send our order to the restaurant TWICE!!! Ordered a glass of wine which I waited 15 minutes for as it sat on a tray at the bar. Staff need to pickup their service game.

Friendly greeting. Girl who explained how to order via QR scan, spoke very softly, hard to hear, but we worked out how to do it. Delicious food.

There was two cockroaches on the floor in the reception area as we waited to enter. The waitress did not seem concerned. Food was good and service fine. The automated Bellabot did not get close enough to the tables to serve and bumped food off the plates when moving around so some people got smaller serves. I don't suppose this matters as you can order more.

Music was very depressing and they always changed mid song.......the initial server was great but from then on in bad food was incredibly slow and lacked any real flavour especially the upon noodle taked like canned vegetables. Very disappointed as out first couple of visits were excellent Maybe that's why so many are closing down

Being my 2nd visit was a little disappointed compaired to the 1st visit ,ordering system had changed and wait times were extremely slow ,some dishes ordered on the 1st order being over an hour before arriving to the table and one dish never came at all in the 2hrs being there . Love the food but not sure I would dine again with the slow service

Initially meals came out quickly. As the time went on, we waited for over 30 minutes between courses. We asked more than 3 times what was happening, staff then kept away. Advised later they were busy, later there were new staff. Didn't get our last meal. Will not go back again, disappointing when the food itself was fantastic. Poor service that I have not experienced for many years.

No atmosphere anymore. Just a ‘feeding lot’ with barely any food. We waited over 45 minutes for drinks and meals, sushi/sashimi was just sitting on the bench waiting to be served to who knows. Our whole order was lost at one point after waiting 45 minutes. We were there about 1.5hours and ate something for about 10 minutes. Such a waste of money. Staff were not helpful. One young staff member didn’t even care that we didn’t have any meals for such a long time. We don’t have time or money to put up with this again.

The food was pretty good, probably the only redeeming thing about our visit. Service not good, we waited for a long time to be seated, people were seated before that came in after us. The drinks took a very long time to arrive. We flipped the card to call for service to order dessert but the servers kept walking past pretending not to see it. We ended up leaving without dessert which is very disappointing because the dessert is one of the best parts. To be fair it was extremely busy when we arrived but the service didnt improve as the restaurant emptied out. We overheard alot of other customers also complaining about the service. We even saw someone that left halfway through their dinner (because noone was serving them food) had walked across the road and ordered a pizza. We have been to Okami many tunes before and had a great experience, this time has made us reconsider ever going again.

Food was great Service was okay - need more staff clearing tables. Or get bigger tables. We were constantly having to try and stack our dishes as there was no room to enjoy the dining experience. We had a spare seat on the end to stack them on but that filled up. Staff couldn't even get to that corner and so we had to pass it all down to other endnfor them to clear. Quite warm in the dining area and so need to make sure there is plenty of water. We had 3 adults 2 children getting one bottle a t a time constantly having to annoy the waitresses for morem

The portion sizes were small I am hard of hearing, and after letting the server know, she spoke quieter instead of louder. If it wasn’t for my wife, who was able to help, I would have left.

2.5 hours, missing plates of food, couldn't even get water bought to the table, 4 dinners at a total cost of $210. When we let the staff know of our experience we were offered $9 off the bill. Very very disappointing, especially when my family save up our money to dine out once every 2 months. Staff did not really care that we had such a terrible time, kept making excuses. Could of cried. 0 out of 10.

The wait staff were willing to assist and help, however,very short staffed with food being served only just warm. The last dish to arrive was delicious and hot but was the first dish ordered. We had to ask three time for it being the prawn gyoza.
