Overall my friends and I are very happy with our experience and food tonight.

Really slow service and other orders were not served. We always ask for follow up but they keep chatting with other members first before serving. Not a great experience.

It is good if you are fried food lovers but no sashimi only dish can be ordered.

This is second visit and I feel the food is getting saltier then before. For improvement, I recommend you try to get a option for saltiness.

I am extremely surprised Okami Silverwater has received so many positive reviews. We dined there for lunch today and were extremely disappointed to say the least. Not only was the food not even close to authentic Japanese (it was very oily and fatty), the service was absolutely atrocious. I had enquired on two separate occasions as to how fast the service is between courses and was assured that from time of order to served on the table was 5 to 10 minutes. Although it was not busy today (the restaurant was just over half to three-quarters full) we felt ignored by all of the wait staff except for Jessica (whom was not even our waitress), and even after finally being able to place an order, we had to ask a number of times as to when we would receive our food (as we saw a number of other tables of people whom arrived after us, and ordered after us, receive their meals before us) and when our food finally arrived over 40 minutes later, they had only served half of our order. This happened numerous times throughout the lunch and we left hungry and definitely did not get over $100 worth of food (which is what it cost for 2 adults and 1 child). We all agreed that a sushi train is a much better option for the future.

Worst service ever encountered. Initially we were greeted by a lovely lady, we asked if we could sit under the air con (they only had two and it was an exceptionally hot day) she went to ask someone who then came over ignored us and served people after us, we were placed at a table next to the counter. The rude lady then placed people who came after us where we had asked to sit. They were not reserved tables and we also had made a booking. After that we just left, I do not appreciate being rudely spoken to or ignored for no reason. Very disappointing.

Food not fresh, came out cold. Waitress had aggressive tone and they wouldn’t let us put what we wanted on our sashimi platter.

Great staff, great food, wait time was short and sweet. Filled up pretty quick so we did unfortunately have a bit of leftovers that we couldn’t cram in. But definitely worth it, it’s cheap and a go to for my family. Thanks for proving wonderful service and can’t wait to dine with you again

Good but not spectacular as our last visit a couple of weeks ago

The food was delicious. However, our orders for drinks were mixed up and took a very long time to arrive. It is often hard to get the attention of waitstaff as they are so busy.

The food was amazing, to be honest I found out about this amazing restaurant in Melbourne and then I looked around to see if it was in Sydney and I found it and I'm so glad I did because this will be my place to go every time I go out for dinner. I'm so happy I found okami in Nsw

Good value. A bit short staffed tonight so ordering the food took longer than usual.

The over all experience is great, the food is nice and fresh. The only downside is as a buffet style restaurant there is a limit of one of each dish per person on the desert maenu. This is the first time I had seen limit on food in a buffet style restaurant.

Great experience but the squid dish took an hour to arrive.

Food is good. The pay point is payment. First no split bills most people go as 2 couples and you can't split that is a joke. Also 1.5 fee for card. Get with the times and stop charging fees to your customers.

Very busy due to Father's day but well organised as everyone had pre-booked. Food came out relatively quick after ordering despite the amount of customer present.
