OKAMI Silverwater

The food was really good. However, not enough wait staff for the booked out restaurant. Dishes ordered sometimes were forgotten, and felt really rushed to eat.

The vegetables come with the beef are not fresh, also the food comes very slowly , so our table a few times is empty. We can only eat in for 2 hours and when half an hour left they came to take our last order. If it’s 10 in total, I would rate 4 only.

Plenty of different options, but our favourites were the miso eggplant and the kakiage. However the sushi was a little underwhelming - the best was the spicy salmon but the sashimi was tiny ! And the tuna sushi a bit tasteless. Arrived at 5pm at opening time on Friday night which meant restaurant was quite empty so very easy to talk and in quiet. The only bad thing is the online ordering system - we had several plates we ordered that never turned up but because you don’t get any record of what you ordered we were too scared to order the missing items in case we ended up getting double.

We don't need to wait on Sunday Afternoon at 12pm. The food is hot and service very fast

My main meal finally arrived after I gave up waiting and started having the ice cream for desert, the manager's respond was: "that's ok you had a lot to eat anyway"

Great food, the beef is superb. Service with a smile as well. Space is wide open and very hard surfaces so sound does tend to bounce around the restaurant. With big families and many kids, be prepared.

Perfect!!! Other establishments take their damn!! Time in bring the food and still expect u to finish in the time when half of your stay is waiting?!! However not here, me and my friend were two very hungry kids and we were seen to immediately and our food came perfectly timed so we could eat right away and still had time in between to breath, we will be definitely coming back with more people!!

Lucky it was a quiet night, service and kitchen was efficient. Hope food quality stops going south.

I like the food it’s kinda fresher than last time we dined in… but the food service has changed. We like the big plate of sushi which we always order but was given a very small one with one piece of each. The server said the big one is only for seven people. That’s the first time we were told like that. We waited a while for the tempura and when it was served there was only 2 tempura… I said how we gonna share this? She said we can order again.. of course we can .. but with the sushi plate you know there’s 3 of us why didn’t u order enough for us? And the ice cream… one each kind??? U put your price up every time we go but you limit your ice cream into one small tub??. What happened to eat all u can???

The lovely stuff at the restaurant found out that it was two of the children's birthday and went behind and got birthday cards for them. Lovely kids were so happy food was good. Stuff was good. Place was very clean. Not too noisy. One of our favourite places to go for birthdays

Dessert should also be unlimited…. Green tea should also be served free… will bring us back.Thankyou

Delicious food selection, fast service with the code to order directly from your table. Staff were lovely. Our little kids loved the sushi, fried rice and ice cream.

Food quality was good, service today wasn’t the best. A lot of missed dishes till staff had to be notified. Other tables got their food before we did even when we ordered 25 minutes before they did.

Lack lustre quality went downhill since a few year ago , found a piece of metal (probably from a steel cleaning tool) and a piece of hair. But it’s a buffet the food was mid.
