Okami - Mornington

Service was particularly slow for food to be brought to our table and it took 50 minutes for my husbands beer to be served. We left feeling very full and food was great.

It was too busy for the staff. It took us an hour to get ice cream

Easy booking online , quick and easy ordering , lovely food .

Food was served quickly for the first round, we almost finished and drinks were not delivered and we had to remind them. after that nobody came to ask if we needed to order more food, we had to get up and look for the waitress, also a beer we didn't ask was served, this was removed after we told waiter about it but when paying, the beer was added to the bill, after we complained it was removed, overall not a pleasant experience.

We were disappointed that a number of items we ordered were never delivered. Even simple things. Had to keep reminding the staff. Spoilt the evening.

Food and service were good but very noisy which took some of the enjoyment away.

Wait times between ordering was annoying and was loud, portions for two people were small

the food was good but the service was very poor, we waited a few minutes at the host stand before we were acknowledged, then when we were sat after 10 mins someone came by to take our order, there was no greeting now asking if we had been there before, after she took our food we said we’ll order drinks but she just walked off rudely , another server had to take our drink order, no apology given either, very poor service staff did not look like they wanted to be there, disappointing, ice cream was horrible icy and had seperated

We chose to sit outside and noticed that because it was raining and we where the only ones outside under cover of corse, We had two rounds of food both times found it hard to get the staffs attention and missed out on the desserts due to no workers outside

Couldn’t get any food. The place was very busy and I presume short staffed but the staff only came to our table twice and we had to wait for ages. The food we did get was nice but just very sparse.

The food here is amazing, they can cater for gluten friendly options and the menu is superb. The service could be a little less rushed and therefore more pleasant and it was noisy but that's because it was a busy Saturday night so to be expected. Overall a great experience and we will certainly be back.

Not first visit, nice restaurant, food is good, value for money

way too busy and loud. staff took ages to take orders.

This is supposedly freshly made food but everything felt like it was made hours before and then kept warm. Everything was dry and overcooked. Even the sushi was dry and awful. There price is very cheap - but even so they should provide edible food. We would have made a fuss on site except we were taking a friend there for a birthday so we did not want a confrontation. Best to say is we won't be going again

Service was terribly slow. Ended up just leaving and didn’t even get all of the food we ordered.

It's a lovely atmosphere and not as tightly packing in as other Okami restaurants. Very delicious food and lovely staff.

WE ENJOYED OUR FAMILY DINNER FOOD GREAT VALUE WITH QUALITY MEATS. WE ALSO UNDERSTAND HOW HARD IT IS TO GET ENOUGH STAFF. THE STAFF THAT WERE THERE DID A GREAT JOB. WE EAT TOO MUCH, OUR OWN FAULT.
