Okami - Mornington

Food was great and the service floorless. Great atmosphere and excellent quality produce.

Absolutely terrible for the first time tonight been going for years and tonight we ordered multiple times after saying it hadn’t come and then it still didn’t come extremely disappointed.

This place has deteriorated in quality, yet the price has increased. Won’t be returning

Excellent serving staff; food was delicious. My toddler was looked after with a plate, spoon, bowl and cup.

Food fantastic as usual and lovely touch with an Easter treat, my scratchie revealed a free soft drink which I enjoyed.

We enjoy the meal very much, the atmosphere was exceptional.

Okami Mornington is one of the nicest Okami’s we have visited. The service was lovely, staff were quick and efficient and all the food was hot and fresh. It was definitely worth the drive and the money.

Noise was so bad and the table next to us were celebrating a significant wedding anniversary and ordered 3 times and got no food for over an hour which upset me for them as they were so nice about it and it was their first experience at Okami

Amazing service, food and value, a little loud but that's what you'd expect from a very popular restaurant.

It was busy, being Valentine’s Day, but there was insufficient staff. Several of the staff were not experienced enough to deal with this many customers, the kitchen, serving and ordering staff were insufficient for the number of customers. If it had not been for two young female staff members the whole restaurant would have collapsed. I love Mornington Okami, but never again will I go on a Valentine’s Day. The absence of management and senior staff in the front of house was notable.

I'm aware it was busy the teraki beef tasted like burnt charcoal our cold starters came last. No water on our table after asking 3 times I went to the bar and got one. We won't be coming back.😔

Service was so slow and the wait in between food was insane. We ended up leaving before final meals. Was just taking too long. Real shame.. first time visit and not sure I'd go back.

Ok experience a little disappointed. Meals did not arrive as described in the menu. We have dined at multiple okami locations all over Melbourne in the last 5 years. The Mornington okami appeared to be cost cutting. The beef carpaccio was in small strips half the size of other okami. Addition the beef & vegetable udon noodles had 3,4 carrot matchstick and 2 thin strips of beef. We told the waiter and he replaced same dish with a few bean shoots. The tempura sauce was watered down so much it was like dipping in water..This was not a true reflection of other okamis. Disappointed
