Food was very good, waited too long for orders to be taken initially. It was so noisy, conversation was impossible and waitress was unable to hear us and we her. We probably won’t go back because of the noise 😞

The service was slower tonigh than usual. We waited 40 minutes for our first order of food.

Very noisy and busy. The staff were a little under pressure and thus wait time was a little slower than usual. Rushed through to dessert but food was exceptional.

The tables are too close together and it was extremely loud, so loud that you couldn’t have a conversation even at a table for two. We were on table 13A and or food kept going to the people on 13. Once was okay, but 4 times was a bit much. The sushi platter showed tuna in the menu, but we had two platters and didn’t get Tuna on either of them. They seemed to fill the platters with egg and Unari

Perfect & Very Well Priced for Japanese High Quality Food

Overall this place is excellent. the food is really tasty. It is very popular which causes the noise level to rise a little. The various courses seem to arrive out of order.

It was overall very good quite happy and will return.

They have two sittings, our booking was for 7.45pm and we turned up at 7.35 and they wouldn’t let us in even though there was no one in there until 7.45 Food was solid but it was sooooo noisy, very busy and they forgot a lot of out order. Probably won’t go back

Great overall experience but don’t go for a catch-up. Noise levels are ridiculous and our table of five couldn’t chat to each other. Yell to make yourself heard! Something they should definitely deal with. We had asked for a ‘quiet’ table and our table was at the back of the restaurant against the wall, so was probably quieter than other sections. Food and service are great. We have been quite a few times. Tip for no more than four people is the table close to the door to the toilet area and against the wall. Quietest there and the toilet is in no way an issue.

Food and service was excellent. Venue is very noisy though which makes it difficult to hear conversations at the same table. We have been to Okami at Frankston many times and have always been more than happy with the food and service.

The food at Okami is delicious and the service is excellent. The restaurant is a always extremely crowded, obviously due to its food, but there is very little ambiance and it's incredibly noisy. It won't stop us going there because of the good food and reasonable price. It's great there us a discount for those over 60 years old age.

It was a quite busy Saturday night, the food was very nice, there wasn’t to much of a wait for the food considering how busy it was. At times it was hard to hear the people at my table due to the loudness of the other dinners. But we were very happy with our visit, thank you

Restaurant very noisy and over crowded. Food was average and pre cooked, not cooked to order. Felt more like a fast food restaurant more than a casual dining. Wouldn’t return.
