Great selection on the menu, always fresh with plenty of choices to choose, we have eaten here numerous times, and always enjoy, friendly service, well worth trying

great value for money, this has become our "goto" place for local dinner catch ups

There was a great variety of food which was freshly cooked and the service was awesome. Although the restaurant was small it wasn't overcrowded so conversation around the table was easy. Great parking. Would totally recommend it

We have been to Okami Frankston many times and recommended it to friends who have also loved it. The service is great, the food plentiful and very tasty, it is noisy, fun and great value for money being an all you can eat deal. Unlike other all you can eat restaurants you do not have to line up at a Bain Marie with all and sundry pawing at and breathing all over the food you choose from an extensive menu and the food is cooked fresh and brought to your table. The serves are sizeable and presented professionally. If you are looking for good value for money, a good family friendly time and you don't mind noise then make a beeline for any of the Okami restaurants all around Melbourne you will not be disappointed.

Busy place, but plenty of food and it comes out pretty quickly which is good as you have a 2 hour limit to get in and out. Very noisy.

Absolutely love the food at Okami, great value for money and lovely service. Only down side is it is very loud when it's busy. Other than that I highly recommend.

The service was wonderful. It was very fast and the staff were very friendly! The food was fresh and very delicious. Can't wait to visit again!

Usually the service is awesome. The waiters come up to your table and always ask for you to order more food, but last night it was almost hard to get an order In and it wasn't that busy, usually it's busier and they seem to handle the pressure really well. Still a great place and the food was good too, I'm just so use to them being so flawless with their waiting

Been here a number of times. Always quality service and food. Very good value for the price of the all you can eat menu. Just needs to get the liquor licence sorted

All the dishes we tried were great and tasty, especially the fresh seafood and tender beef. The service was excellent. The staff was very attentive and the order came quickly. Had a really good dinner experience.

I do think the food was nice and the service was good but the restaurant was far too noisy, I would not return for this reason

The food the service the ambiance was awesome. Thoroughly enjoyed our night as did our 5 yo. She loved tasting different dishes and of course ice cream. Thank you for making our anniversary that much more special.

Fresh food, quickly served. Lots of choice for different people. Restaurant was very busy, a bit noisy. Some dishes we ordered, but we didn't get those dishes, probably because the staff was too busy.

it was so good and on the way out i booked in for my next visit the staff were very nice and helpful. but only one fuku is not enough

Meals and service were good but the night went sour for us when we discovered the “no split bill” policy when we went to pay. There is a small sign near the till that we did not see when we entered and were seated. It wasn’t until the end of the meal when we went to pay that we became aware. We were not in a position to pay with one card for 7 people. The “debate” that followed was disappointing for us, especially since we were offering to pay the bill (not a cheap one either) and payment was being refused. When we advised staff that we could either pay with two cards or walk out, we were allowed to split the bill. It shouldn’t have taken for us to say we’d walk out before this was resolved.

Food fresh service fabulous. Venue a bit loud and change over for next sitting had us standing in cold. But food made up for it very enjoyable. We will go back again.

First time in Okami and it lived up to my expectation. I have heard some great reviews and it sure does worth it. We will surely come again and recommend.

Very noisy restaurant, couldn't hear our conversations but it's a great concept of fixed price all you can eat. Would have liked to double up on some dishes which wasn't allowed.

Have only been for the all you can eat option, but it is absolutely amazing! You always get more than your money's worth of excellent quality food

We return to this restaurant every fortnight as it is the most incredible Japanese food we have had in Australia. Having been to Japan, we had high expectations and they were exceeded through the quality and freshness of the food.

Great venue , food and service. But having to pay cash and not being allowed to use eftpos facilities to pay for meal is aggravating 😶

Vibrant atmosphere. Staff friendly and food good. Quick service. Price/value excellent. Does get busy so need to book. Can be noisy but that adds to the vibe.

So good we returned. Delicious as usual and good value. Only annoyance was we could see our dessert sitting on the counter for a good 6 mins before I had to ask one of 4 waitresses blatantly ignoring it to bring it over. Would still return again.

1) Food doesn't come in order you order it 2) When requested to have mains and rice brought out together - it didnt happen 3) Unfriendly staff taking orders 4) Ordered 4 soft drinks, they didnt even come out all together 5) Was hit in the head twice by waitress carrying tray tables 6) Too loud and crowded This has been our 3rd time there. Food is great, but service and delivery of the food has always really lacked. Even when mentioned to staff members, that shrug their shoulder and don't know, or don't care. This is a great business model and idea, and very popular, however some very fine tuning is required for the reputation of the company to sustain - and the word is slowly getting around the local community about these issues.

Their fried rice is really good and the later booking is definitely better

Restaurant was great. Booked that day online and receive an sms with information and asking if I needed any special requests. Which I did need a high chair and pram space. Which was already for us when we went to our booking. The restaurant even had coloured plastic cutlery, bowl and cup for my son. Which I would of never expected they definitely gave us a bonus for the night. The food was outstanding, quick and hot. They really care for their products. We will certainly be dining here again. Can not recommend them enough Certainly recommend booking a table as it was full 10 minutes after opening.
