Good food considering the price! I tend to stick to the more traditional dishes like Agedashi Tofu. The waitresses are very busy and it can be hard to get their attention sometimes but polite and prompt service otherwise.

Service & food was impeccable & good value. Only negative was noise of rowdy table nearby. Nothing you could fault restaurant with. Highly recommend. Okami has become one of our favorite go to's for celebrations

Fantastic. Some dishes are missed. But overall fantastic fresh food very well presented. Great selection. A bit noisy but atmosphere is good. Presentation of food is 5 star

Very friendly and efficient staff. Tasty food. Will definitely be coming back here for future celebrations. The only downside waa how busy it got - a testament to the dining experience!

Tasty all you can eat Japanese food. Service was fast and efficient. Servers and food were both great! I would highly recommend to friends and Family! Will be back again.

Good food good service. Great variety of food with very little wait time after ordering. Portions are a good size to allow plenty of variety.

Excellent service, staff were very attentive, and the food was of great quality. We were also very surprised at how fast the food came out. I would highly recommend Okami for a great dinner out with friends/family.

Great food and excellent value for money. The service was prompt and friendly. It would have been nice if the restaurant was licensed however there is a bottle store next door and byo was no issue with a very reasonable corkage.

Food was plentiful & delicious. Service was quick, but not rushed. Serving Staff were happy, very obliging & professional. We ate so much great food I felt guilty when paying the bill. Best restaurant in years

The food was delicious but I felt cramped with seating and seating to close to people. And couldnt have space. Would recommend the place to friends.

Very disappointed that even though their drinks menu had beer and wine on it they sold no alcohol. Also a. Outlet of dishes took to long to come.

Fantastic value, lovely patient staff. Will be back there in a flash. Don’t think that they need music playing though as it’s so noisy anyway.

We go to Okami if we can every week. The service is great and the food is delicious - very fresh and healthy. It is very affordable compared to other Japanese restaurants and is ‘all you can eat’.

Fantastic food and fast service. Only problem is the noise. It is hard to have a good conversation. Is definitely value for money and BYO a bonus.

Good value and food is mainly good. Being BYO is a real bonus. Can be a little noisy and I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic occasion but a good everyday venue.

This is our 3rd visit to Okami Frankston now and it doesn't disappoint. Service is great and the food is cooked fresh and comes out quickly, great value for money. Highly reccommend

The room was too loud and all large groups were squished into a corner together. Also, half of the food that we ordered didn't come out, therefore it wasn't 'all we could eat'. It was more like only eating what they'll give us. We had a table of only 8 and were only ordering 3 x dishes for each end of the table (4 x 4). We were left very hungry.

Love everything here except the noise level. Food is as good as we have had at many different Melbourne Japanese restaurants. Quick ordering with lovely, plentiful staff members, taken down on Ipads with a full menu of everything you would expect and want. Equally quick serving of freshly made, piping hot dishes. No Bain Marie’s here or self serve. The only dish we haven’t enjoyed on our many visits was the vegetable gyozas, Bit mushy for our tastes. Prawn gyozas are fabulous with a nice hint of ginger. Would be nice if they did something about the acoustics, otherwise a big thumbs up. We requested a quiet table with our booking, which incidentally is the one in the corner near the toilets, where we have previously sat. Sounds off putting but is not a drawback in any way. On sms confirmation we changed our request to be close to the aircon as it was a 38 degree day. No problem, extremely obliging and cooling was very good. Observed the people sitting in our previously requested seats tucked in the corner, fanning themselves, so not the best option on a hot night. Give it a try, you shouldn’t be disappointed! Seniors price is a definite bonus!

GREAT! I love it there!! Staff are friendly enough, the atmosphere is amazing and the food is culturally inspiring; went there for a date, and I’m glad I choose right :)

food was so good and of good quality, it was extremely busy and the food still came out fast, the service was perfect and the waiters were calm, took my mum there for the first time and she LOVED it, we will be coming back very soon

Great restaurant and service. Would recommended going in small groups as it becomes very noisy. Very clean tables and utensils. Would like to see Japanese tea offered at dessert time with ice cream. This would be a lovely idea.

At Okami we had really quick service, there wasn’t much waiting between ordering food, handy as we had kids eating with us. There is really delicious food and great value for money with the all you can eat!

Great food and service... Delicious seafood that was very fresh. Great to byo wine$5 per bottle and to bring a cake with no extra charge. Thankyou
