Okami - Fairfield

Service could have been better. Ordered a jug of lemon lime and bitters and we were given black plastic cups to drink it from. Asked for glasses but they didn't turn up.

The service was poor and it took too long for dishes to come out. Only had 7 dishes making it over $10 per dish absolute rip off considering we were there for over an hour and had to hair half an hour for dishes to come out, Would have loved to order more but didn’t have time to sit there for another 30 minutes to wait for food to come out

Fantastic food and service. Great value too. The seats could be more comfortable, they were hard to sit on but otherwise everything was great.

the food was very good, the environment was nice and clean, the service was good until almost the end of the dinner, I noticed that in my glass of lemon and lime bitter inside I thought there were some pieces of lemon, but then looking more closely I saw that they were grains of rice, I told the waitress and she immediately apologized and called her manager I think, who came with an authoritative tone and told me that it wasn't their fault, I wanted to let it go also because they were celebrating a birthday, and I didn't want to argue, after that we no longer had table service, and to have a dessert I had to call the person serving several times, I'll start by saying that the place wasn't full, I hope that whoever puts someone in charge to be the manager is sure that he knows how to do his job.

On a cold evening in Melbourne, Okami came to the rescue! Welcoming and helpful staff, and plates and plates of delicious Japanese food. From the sushi to the chicken teriyaki and everything in between, the food was outstanding! By the end of our sitting, we had eaten far too much. Looking forward to our next visit

Food was great and didn't take long to get to us. However, it was hard to get the attention of the waiters. Other than that, great atmosphere, good vibes, and the waiters always served us with a smile! :)

We were surprised tonight to find that the prices had gone up. Also the menu had changed and so did the food. The food was good but possibly not as good as it used to be. The service was great and all the waitresses were very attentive. This was our favorite restaurant but after the price increase and the quality decrease we might need a new place to go.

Spacious restaurant. Attentive service and nice and courteous. The waitresses were amazing, polite and attentive. The waiter was a bit strange chucking dishes to table and was abrupt. First time being here so the contrast in service was a bit shocking. Food came fast and of great quality. Chicken was a bit overcooked, tempura was with quite thick coating so they are not to my liking. That said, steak was amazing, eggplant amazing. Overall pleasant experience
