Okami - Fairfield

Great food, we received a few dishes we hadn't ordered and missed out on a few but all the food was fantastic.

Always go to the Fairfield okami just live it their very fast service and just great overall

Food quality is great. The ladies serving were lovely. However the gentleman running the bookings could have done with some personality. Not taking ownership for stuffing up our booking and having attitude to go with it, we did not feel welcomed at all. We only stayed because my guest wanted to eat there. If it hadn’t have been for the good food and other friendly staff, I would have walked out. If you book, I recommend you request the front of the restaurant where it’s pleasant. Otherwise they will shove you in the back all squashed up in a corner. They should take bookings more seriously.

The staff and service were lovely. Excellent value for money.

The food was fantastic. It's great having small serves so we could try lots of dishes Unfortunately they had sat most guests all in the front section, which meant it was Very noisy and we couldn't hear each other talk the back part of the restaurant was barely used. We will insist we sit in the back section next time. It's a great concept.

The service can definitely improve. Looks like there was shortage of staff. THere was good wait time at entrance and then had too wait for food as well.

Service could have been better. Ordered a jug of lemon lime and bitters and we were given black plastic cups to drink it from. Asked for glasses but they didn't turn up.

The service was poor and it took too long for dishes to come out. Only had 7 dishes making it over $10 per dish absolute rip off considering we were there for over an hour and had to hair half an hour for dishes to come out, Would have loved to order more but didn’t have time to sit there for another 30 minutes to wait for food to come out

Fantastic food and service. Great value too. The seats could be more comfortable, they were hard to sit on but otherwise everything was great.

the food was very good, the environment was nice and clean, the service was good until almost the end of the dinner, I noticed that in my glass of lemon and lime bitter inside I thought there were some pieces of lemon, but then looking more closely I saw that they were grains of rice, I told the waitress and she immediately apologized and called her manager I think, who came with an authoritative tone and told me that it wasn't their fault, I wanted to let it go also because they were celebrating a birthday, and I didn't want to argue, after that we no longer had table service, and to have a dessert I had to call the person serving several times, I'll start by saying that the place wasn't full, I hope that whoever puts someone in charge to be the manager is sure that he knows how to do his job.

Overall was good we love and of course overeat. The only dishes dislike the seaweed salad 🥗 so fishy smell.
