Okami - Fairfield

The food was below average to the point it made us all feel unwell, the price has increased for less service and food quality, you now have to use a qr code to order instead of having a staff member come as it used to be and there seems to be more interest in delivery orders than people who come to the restaurant. So disappointing and we won't be coming back.

Great food ! Everything was delicious except the Miso Steak - over cooked. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our food.

The food was extremely disappointing McDonald's has better food and I am not a fan of McDonald's The beef was tough as was the chicken. But the calamari b all's were off. they had a terrible smell and put everyone off their food. The change of menue has been a ddisaster the food is substandard. I will.not be going back . I do not recommend that you waste your money. The staff were fantastic.

I have been to several different Okami restaurants over the years, including Fairfield, and have always had a great experience. I know the menu well. Tonight's dinner at Fairfield was extremely disappointing. The food was not up to standard at all - very small portions of sushi/sashimi, greasy tempura, the 'tofu' in the agedashi tofu had no texture or flavour, the seafood salad was soggy rather than clean and fresh, etc. The service was just okay, but should have been more attentive. I will definitely not be returning.

Food was ok however staff were really rude. Will not be returning.

Haven’t been here for a while. Menu is definitely smaller. But the food here is always so fresh and tasty and tender. Loved it..👍

Food quality is great. The ladies serving were lovely. However the gentleman running the bookings could have done with some personality. Not taking ownership for stuffing up our booking and having attitude to go with it, we did not feel welcomed at all. We only stayed because my guest wanted to eat there. If it hadn’t have been for the good food and other friendly staff, I would have walked out. If you book, I recommend you request the front of the restaurant where it’s pleasant. Otherwise they will shove you in the back all squashed up in a corner. They should take bookings more seriously.

The staff and service were lovely. Excellent value for money.

The food was fantastic. It's great having small serves so we could try lots of dishes Unfortunately they had sat most guests all in the front section, which meant it was Very noisy and we couldn't hear each other talk the back part of the restaurant was barely used. We will insist we sit in the back section next time. It's a great concept.
