Okami - Doncaster

Such a fantastic restaurant. The servicing staff are friendly and quick. The food is really delicious for all you can eat and I’d even stay better than some other à la carte restaurants. Very decent price for the amount of food you can order. Definitely will be coming back again.

Food was nice but unfortunately we picked a particularly noisy night I think. We had to ask for a 'finger bowl' after shelling the prawns. Perhaps that should be served with the dish.

Nice food and great service. Food arrived very quick after ordering. Choices of food are not so many but still good considering the prices charged.

Great price, food is fresh, fast service. All you can eat but only can have 1 scoop of icecream? Doesn't make sense. Feels like staff start judging if you eat too much.

The food was fantastic and great service. Really good value for money. The environment was excellent. The only issue was lack of parking as the place was very busy.

tempura not fresh deep fried won‘t go again the taifo is good but limited not so many items you can choose dessert better than mains....

Food was delicious, very fresh and good size portions. No problems in ordering as many of one thing or as many different choices. Nothing disappointed

very good service provided by the waiter and waitress. food served in a reasonable speed . quality of food is very good. seating arrangement and layout is spacious and comfortable. I would like to recommend friends to come to dinner.

Food was good and service was brilliant however, it was very noisy that we couldn’t hear each other say anything. H will still go back there for food and service.

All good delicious and freshly cooked. Was great to sample dishes we wouldn’t usually order. Would recommend Okami to friends. Staff were very polite and helpful

I love the space this restaurant has, as i have been to most of Okami restaurant.. This place had atmosphere is also good. Only disappointing bite, when one person is ordering, they don't bring out, double of food, to the rest whom are dinning with u, one serve for 8 people and need to re-order and wait.. Also icecream we ordered took for ever so we canceled..

Simple food, done well. Fresh and good quality food with quick service. It didn’t seem rushed at all and was so full that we didn’t even get to try everything. Next time for sure.

Food was fantastic very fresh and mouth watering service was good and had no problems with anything only issue was we were in booth not very comfortable when there are 8 people also cost for children under 10 too expensive

We booked 5 people, but had 4 people’s table without any explain. Very noisy (might because of the Saturday night ). Several dishes we ordered at the beginning came out very late even we asked a few times. The dishes were below average, some were terrible that we could tell the kitchen was too busy to deliver good quality food. Sorry!

Food were OK. Very limited choices but you paid for what you get I suppose. Most dishes are the common type of your usual Japanese fast food dishes. Staffs are pleasant.

A friendly place to enjoy make to order all you can eat meal. The food quality is good, and value for money, will recommend others to try.

Excellent food service was terrific think it is the best Okami that we have been .l think the children price is too dear should have up to 20 years $10 then above $15 very expensive it taking the whole fsmily

This was my second time visiting this restaurant, the first time the dessert was a lot different so were the prawns. I am going to give this place another go.

Food was good and came out fast. Would have been good to know before we ordered that when you order they cook for the amount of people on the table. Mainly good to know for when ordering second servings. Otherwise the food was fresh and I would go back again

Okami is a great place to go with a group or even just for two. All you can eat, high quality Japanese food for such a low price! Highly recommend as you get your value for your dollar!

Good dining experience and value for money. Went with my husband but we would definitely be able to take our children there. Family friendly with lots of room for high chairs. Food was nice, standard basic Japanese. Great presentation and quality. Definitely go back.

The food was fresh and delicious. The orders came out fast but the service was not the best, they stuffed up our orders a couple of times. Drinks came out to us after all our food was delivered.

Very aesthetic. Food delivered at a quick speed. Chicken dishes amazing. Icecream very well in the end. Staff very friendly and responsive to our very large orders (group of 4)

Good food and service. Beautiful Ambience with benches, the water feature and the Sakura tree. We usually visit Camberwell but this rests had better atmosphere than our usual Burke road franchise.

Food was nice but the service was not satisfactory. We ordered at 7:45pm and by 9 still no food. We asked where our food was and they hadn’t even recorded our order! Had to order again and to top it off, they told us we had to pay a $20 surcharge for any left over food! What the?! Won’t be going back.

Great food, but slow service as I had to ask 3-4 times for things, but was a very busy night as the place was full. Offers great value for a noisy night out.

service is extremely slow and it is the worst Okami we have been to so far. two ladies sat next to our table only got a plate of fried rice and beef, but they had been sitting there for more than an hour. most of the tables were empty and people were waiting for their orders to arrive.

Fresh food, nice environment. Only issue is the session time, 1st session starts 5:00pm which is a bit early and need to finish by 7:30pm and 2nd session starts 7:45om which is a bit late.

Great menu with varieties to suit everyone. The food is of high quality and the dishes were perfect portion. Staff were attentive and the service was excellent. The miso beef, agedashi tofu and seafood tempura were my favourites

Food and services were good. But we’ve been charged for 14 people, while we only had 13 adults and 2 kids under 4 year old.

Quick service initially. Then gets busy with waiters serving food. Menu variety good for kids. Clean. Beef was nice. Sake was nice and warm. Will return.

Nice food, if there are more seasonal varieties would be better. We started at 7:45pm till 10 pm, no rush orders pressure. great price for all you can eat Japanese Cuisine!

The service was good but the food was not much to choose from the menu. Even though you can eat all you like but the serving is quite small per dish. The udon and some other main dishes were salty except the sushi and shasimi fresh and up to standard.

The venue looks great, there are plenty of friendly staff and the food comes shortly after ordering. Great food and excellent value! Now one of our favourites!

All staff should be able to register and memorise which table and what has been ordered by the customers instead of going round and checking table by table n many a times we didn't even get our first ordered till last it might be someone taken our orders or they just miss it other than that the good is fantastic. Is yet to see some improvement in the future.

Delicious food, wonderful service - highlights included: chicken kerrage, chicken terriyaki, prawns! and delicious ice cream for desert. Beautiful location, easy to find - plenty of parking!

Newly renovated, environment very nice. Great service and fast arrival of food. Food very yummy although some a bit too salty. Excellent for the price.

Excellent standard as always. Some effort needs to be made on remembering orders as staff need to be reminded about drinks. Food orders are no issue.
