Service and food both were disappointing compared to last time we were there. I won’t go back.

Great food Please provide us with plates so we can put the food onto a plate We had to ask for plates Also can we get the dumplings served first please ? Our rice came first when we thought it should have come after the other food Also why do you not serve icecream in scoops in bowls ? That would look more elegant Than in a paper container

Service was terrible tonight, we have been many time and loved it. We had to ask 4 times for a fork for our daughters, in the end we got up and got them ourselves. We ordered items that never showed up, we asked what happened and they said there were never ordered. Others around us were complaining. I am hoping it was just a bad night because we do enjoy coming here.

Amazing! Food was terrific, service with a smile and nothing was too hard. We two 7 month olds and a 5 year old and they were very accommodating. Ate so much food too!!

Not only were the serving sizes tiny, but my friend accidentally dropped her glass, and no one came to help us and there was shattered glass on the floor! What’s WORSE is none of the staff acted like they saw it, and yet on our bill charged up for a “broken glass fee”. I was shocked, someone could have been hurt by the smashed glass and none of the staff came to see if we were okay.

Great venue and very tasty fresh food staff can be a little slow to take orders but you will not leave feeling hungry

I do like the flip card on the table for service, however there were still times it took a while to get plates cleared and orders taken.

We love going to Okami restaurants and the food and value are excellent. My brother and sister-in-law joined us this time and they also thoroughly enjoyed it saying they too will be back. Thank you 😊

The food is always delicious, if it comes out that is. We were a party of 7 and my youngest son did no receive his meal. it was a simple and plain order. Chicken katsu withholding the sauce and steamed rice. It became very upsetting for our son, so we left. We won't be returning to Chelsea Heights Okami and will stick to Cranbourne. Very disappointing. The service was awful.

we love it here and the kids can experience lots of different foods. The atmosphere can be a bit cold, but the food is fantastic and service is generally pretty quick.

We had a table of approx. 20 people behind us & it was very noisy.

The food took very long to came out, despite reminding the staff multiple times that we were still waiting. The staff wasnt friendly, they kept denying us from ordering food even after we expressed that what we ordered an hour ago still hasn’t come and they showed an “annoyed” expression every time we flipped the “service” card. Towards the end, there was a certain staff member (young girl with make up, brown hair, tied by a clip, about 5”8, normal build), that was rude. My mum said “excuse me, may we please order such and such” and the girl walked past, deliberately ignored my mum and then turned her head, smiled and laughed at her. We all saw this and were in shock. The same girl half way through our experience began cleaning a section of Okami which was behind us. We have nothing against that but when you use chlorine based products it will interfere with our meals as that was all we could smell from then on. This is not how you treat your customers. None of the staff had smiles on their faces and looked like they were in a rush to go home. We always go to Okami for every single family’s birthday, but we all agreed this was the last time.

A pleasant first time visit . Prompt service, good food and lovely staff

After ordering for the first time and eating all of the food served, we then attempted to order a second round. The waiter was quite abrupt & rude and pointed out that any food wastage would be charged at the end and would not let us order more that 4 small dishes even though there was 5 of us. We knew of the food wastage clause already as it is clearly stated so we were quietly miffed. After then ordering a third & fourth round (of which at one point we sat for 20-25 mins with no food on the table after not having had very much delivered to us at the start), all of our dishes were completely eaten with nothing left. As we walked out we noticed another table where the patrons had already left but their plates not cleared yet and this table had many plates half full of food still sitting there, clearly well over 200g wastage. So obviously they were not charged for wastage and we wondered why we had been rudely alerted to their terms. Wasn't a pleasant experience in the end and it left a sour note for my daughter's 14th birthday.

It was a lovely meal, beef udon stir fry was the best dish of the night, we appreciated that they prepared a vegetable tempura ( no prawns) unfortunately it was a pretty doughy batter and not light and crispy as tempura should be. Other than that it was a great meal.
