Okami - Caroline Springs

Service has improved a lot since the last time we visited Okami's everything is really well organised and runs like a well oiled machine.

Excellent food and service. We will definitely be dining at Okami Caroline Springs again. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely waitress serving our table the whole night and she was very pleasant. That's a good improvement from my last dine out experience. The food came out quickly but only downside was it was too salty. After our dinner I was very dehydrated. Overall nice service.

I feel good with my family when have had dinner in Okami, I often come to Okami, but the only thing i never see from Okami is they never give any offer, special deal...

Took 20 minutes from when I sat down to ask someone if I can order a drink, I had to get there attention There was one lady that was very nice , apologised for he wait and asked if we were okay, she was constantly go go go go - lovely service from her Food was delicious

The service was good and the food was great. Unfortunately the tables are so close together you are sitting on the diners next to you and we had very disrespectful neighbours who couldn’t handle their alcohol nor could they mind their own business, commenting on the quantity of food we were ordering. You don’t go to all you can eat with the intention of eating a small amount.

Felt like it was very rushed here compared to other venues, but was busy so team did the best they could. We did need to order double portions here as did not seem to be as suitable for sharing as other sites tend to be. Food nice as always.

Not bad, food was average and capacious wasn’t fresh and service wasn’t the best and waiting time was more than usual.

Food was average nowhere as fresh as OKAMI Footscray, service wasn’t the best in fact a little arrogant I would say.

Dined here for the first time and will be back again. The food was of very good quality, service was quick. Helpful tip - when ordering you can pick your portion size.

My partner came in for dinner last night. Ambience was nice, not noisy. The food arrived quickly, shortly after ordered and portion sizes are just right for two people. Service was great and the servers were super friendly and attentive. Would come back again. Only negative feedback is the arabiki sausage in the new menu is so-so... It's just like a plain hotdog. And I wish they would bring back the chawanmushi - that was nice! Don't know why they removed it.

Food was fresh and delicious. I took some friends who seldom try new things (meat and three veg types) and they really enjoyed it and would come back. We really enjoyed our time at the restaurant but feel they may have needed more wait stuff.

Quiet a disappointing night. Started the night well with orders taken. Then after another round of orders was constantly reminded that they have policy of 200 grams wastage and will be charged. I respect their policy but it puts a dampen on your mood whenever you make orders. Makes you feel guilty in case I don't finish the food. In the end we only had 2 dish of half eaten fried rice and few dumplings left. When we went to pay the bill they wanted to charge us. What's going on???? Why are the treating customers like this? What happened to having a nice meal without the guilt? Is it only this restaurant or does this new food policy applies all Okami restaurant.

Food was good , tasty fresh and generally on time.

The food was fine, however the service from one of the waitresses as she kept asking for senior card even though we had already presented it to her.

the food is great, the staff are great. I've gone here a few times. only issue is, every customer is yelling and you can can't even hear what your friend next to you is saying. it isn't the restaurant fault just rude customers
