Okami - Camden

Food was delicious but extremely slow coming out. Waited over an hour for a tempura dish and left after waiting over 25 minutes for ice cream and it still not coming

It was a very enjoyable experience, the food was great, very clean and nicely presented and the staff were very respectful and friendly.

Food took awhile to come out, Waited for me to go outside, came back in sat down and I was too full to eat😩

It was very busy due to it being Valentines day. Unfortunately I was underwhelmed. Flavours were not full and umami. I felt that it was basic and not as rich flavoured as I expected from Japanese food. The service was good, wait staffed worked very hard to get the food out as quick as possible. There were not enough ipads for everyone. The value for money was good. Unfortunately I will not be coming back, I apologise for this review but if only the food was better..

The food was very fresh, made to order. Everything we ordered was super tasty, coming in a timely fashion. The restaurant was clean and staff were very friendly. My adult son chose the venue to celebrate his birthday and the seniors card discount on the buffet was a welcome bonus🥰

So good and so cheap, even the kids loved it

It was a disappointing experience at Camden. Wait times were poor due to insufficient service staff (1 behind the bar & 1 serving food), waited 30 minutes just to receive our drinks and food wasn't hot once it reached the table. After collecting the dirty plates (which were stacked up on our table constantly), the staff member threw them into a bin, making a loud noise for the entire restaurant to hear. This noise and behaviour should have been made out the back in the kitchen! Won't be going back there anytime soon, but will definitely go back to Okami Unanderra which was a totally different dining experience.

It took upwards of 45 minutes to receive each plate of food and only one plate delivered at a time and not other delivered until we had finished it even though we wanted to eat the side of rice and veggies with our main meats we received them over an hour and 30 mins after ordering. Did not get our moneys worth of food as it took so long for them to come that we still left hungry as the restaurant was closing and we were still getting our orders we ordered 20 mins after arrival. The food was all services cold and was not very nice. Wait staff were too busy talking and gigging with each other to actually take the many plates sitting on the kitchen pass. Ordered two spirits mixed with coke and they took 40 mins. Had to go to the bar and get them myself as the ice had completely melted from them sitting there. I have been to 9 different Okamis with our first visit being the Cronulla restaurant 3 years ago and travelled over an hour for this visit. We usually love it when we go but Camden was by far the worst dining experience we have had and has made us want to possible never return to the chain again which is disappointing as it was our favourite and often take family and friends.

New tablet system is good for ordering but it did take a while for food to actually come out.

Today is our 56 th Wedding anniversary and a couple overheard our conversation. They finished before us and paid for our meal. There are still some fine people in Camden. The food was very good and we will return.

Food was amazing, time for food to come out was poor. We waited 2 hours for a dish that never came, we just left after an hour and a half.

We have eaten here many times and really enjoy the restaurant, and we have left many positive reviews. Unfortunately tonight wasn’t great, the restaurant appeared to be under staffed and they were worked very hard but were overwhelmed. We waited long periods for our food, many hot items arrived at the table cold, cold items were hot, and some items never arrived. Okami Camden is usually a great night out and we’ll be back to give them another try.

It was a very busy night and you were understaffed. Red-headed French-Canadian girl was absolutely amazing! She ran around after everyone and really takes pride in her job. She is an absolute asset to your business!

Tried to order the food was way more complicated than it should’ve been. Nothing was done about the wasted food. The next table and the food itself was almost as good as Sushi on fire.

Overall experience was good. Food was good. It looked like it wasn’t managed very well as all the staff were very stressed so the service wasn’t great. Waitress’ would place food down and not clear tables.

Always a fabulous meal at Okami Camden. The food is delicious and fresh, the staff friendly and helpful. The only slight downside is the dessert.

So easy to order food with the new QR code experience…still had the option to order with a ‘real person’ but this QR option suited my group members much better. Would highly recommended

Staff were amazing. They were responsive to our requests. Food could be improved on. Kaarage chicken tasted like chinese honey chicken without the sauce. A bit too doughy. Takoyaki was bland. The miso and teriyaki steak were great. Overall experience was good
